An Okranite exile, Yahya started out with nothing but a dream: a new Phoenix who was just and unprejudiced, one who could redeem Kenshi from a blasted wasteland to a verdant paradise. This dream marked him as a heretic within the Holy Nation, and he has set out both to seek out his prophecied Redeemed Phoenix and to establish a community of like-minded believers.
Yahya’s quest eventually led him to Arach, where he cut down the Bugmaster with his own hand. This won him the respect of the Stone Golem and her Shek Kingdom, and Esata went on to entrust the self-styled prophet with her daughter and heir Seto. This was done both as an indication of their mutual alliance against the Holy Nation and an opportunity for the young Shek princess to learn from an experienced warrior. However, Yahya has an entirely different plan for Seto: he hopes to convert her, to show the benefit of his religion to all of Kenshi, even the horned devils.

Mirra Theirin is a warrior woman, a noble woman, from an ancient northern house still around from the time of the first man; they still hold their loyalty to House Stark. Mirra goes to Castle Black with a small army of her father's men to answer Lord Commander Snow's call for aid against the White Walkers. She always wanted to fight but as a woman never could regardless of her skill, she jumped at the opportunity to go where they wouldn't turn down skilled fighters. Her and Jon knew each other as children as her father often had business at Winterfell and would take her along for a couple months every year until she was 13 and the Kings visit at Winterfell waylaid their plans. My story comes in in what would be the last few episodes of season 5, making both Mirra and Jon 20 years old. It follows the main plot points of the show with my own take of course on interactions.
IMPORTANT: I am still actively working on this, sometimes its just hard to find the extra time. I'm trying to do better about finding the time to at least write a little bit everyday between this and my Trueblood one. Thank you for everyone who sticks around and keeps reading despite my slow updates :)
