This is a collection of short Swedish stories and fairy tales spanning from before the viking age to the late 19th century. This includes stories about giants, trolls, changelings, tomten, the ruling spirits, näcken, bäckahästen (kelpie), vittra/vättar, fairies/elves, ghosts/lingering souls, bysen, lantern-men, werewolves, man-bears, the mara, dragons/lindworms/magical serpents, sea monsters, sorcerers, magical trees, and the devil himself.
I have somewhat altered most of these stories (by adding or rephrasing sentences) in order to give necessary context, elevate the quality a bit, or make it slightly more understandable for a modern audience. But the overall story is the same, one in particular just had to be updated so that the original message can come through (like rooting for the character that the story wants you to root for).

This biographical essay has been a long time in coming. As a mythic literalist I personally believe in the legends surrounding the life of Theodoric the Great but, of course, mainstream historians keep them separate from who they believe the historical man was.
To remedy this I dived into medieval German and Scandinavian sources and blended the legendary elements into this biography alongside the accepted historical events (with my own interpretations) to offer a mythic literalist perspective on the Ostrogoth King.
