With the Argent, Calavera, and Munroe Clans closing in on the remnants of the Hale Pack, the other Packs urge Talia to do something to shore up their strength. Her best option, much to her chagrin, is to reach out to her brother Peter.
The Hales haven't seen Peter since he left the Pack and formed his own splinter Pack. He's even more conniving and handsome than Derek remembered, and everyone expects Peter to extract a heavy price for his help in this war. What Derek was not expecting, was for the price to be his hand in marriage.
How can he say no when Peter is offering Derek everything he wants on a silver platter? A pack that accepts him, the love of a mate, and the chance to be a werewolf proper.
