Glancing around at the familiar gold detailing of the walls and glittering jewellery hanging on every surface, Grian was struck by its hidden modesty. Scar's room - despite the glamour - had a warm and comforting atmosphere to it. Clothes littered the floor messily. The four poster bed was smooth dark oak. The shades of the furniture were deep sandstone yellow and peaches and sage greens, reminding Grian of the desert landscape.
Scar was splayed out across his bed, green sheets tangled. He had changed into sleeping wear already, his chest bare.
Grian stood motionless at the foot of the bed.
