Summary
Avians, humans-like creatures with wings, have been preyed on by harpies for centuries. Nobody, not even children, are spared. With feathers on their faces and talons, harpies rip them apart without any mercy.
But in the safe haven Mearith, a city above the clouds, avians are secure. The city is built for their freedom, with tall trees and spiral buildings, all avians can spread their wings. Thanks to the king's guards, harpies rarely manage to make it far into the city. But every once in a while, a harpy will slip under the radar and take an avian to what seems to be their doom.
Aurora, a twenty year old woman, was born in Mearith, the city of flight. Too bad that she is flightless.

Phainon wakes up to the Eternal Page sporting wings. And he very quickly has to realise that having wings is a hindrance in daily life. They are big and very much in the way, so he gets stuck in doors, swipes down stuff and even struggles to find comfortable positions on chairs or beds while trying to learn how to handle them. And he’s not sure he really wants them.
