The name Malpart might originally have described a person who has a "bad part/portion" in a figurative sense - like an unlucky person or one with a bad reputation.
This is my headcanon for the 40 or so years Arnaud lived before the start of Requiem - starting with the day he left home, told in achronological in medias res anecdotes.
All from Arnaud's perspective. Extremely dialogue-heavy and character build-y.Very much a work in progress, though I have no ambition to write one continuous story. Just the meat :)
Contains copious amounts of Victor de Arles and of deeply sad things. Will eventually contain marked E scenes. Contains no De Runes.

After they reunite, they both have to contend with the trauma and ptsd of past decisions, finding comfort in one another
They don't talk about the love confession at first, but eventually it comes to a point and they finally have a full confession.or: Viktor is human, there's some angst and anxiety, then they confess again and actually get together.
There's a lot of flowery language, but I promise it's worth it -

Being on the verge of fainting from hunger, a young human named Porchay saves the witch and lets him stay in his home.
Just as Kim thought that at least he wouldn't die now, things took a more complicated turn because apparently, he was a singer named WIK who's been missing for almost 2 years. Now that was quite a shocker. Having to hide his secret identity from the boy, Kim started pretending to be that singer with amnesia while trying to figure out about this mysterious singer.
As dreadful as Kim thought his life would get, he found the camaraderie that developed over time to be quite pleasant—something Kim had never experienced. And the next thing he knew, he began to fall in love with the boy. (Also, fighting these unfamiliar horny thoughts)
But just then, with a change in circumstances, Kim faced the reality that impersonating the famous singer was a lot more twisted than he could have ever anticipated.
