Summary
Ramani Monarch has a problem. Her mother won't stop breathing down her neck, her brother won't stop brawling, and her father pretends everything is normal. Oh, and her best friend is back in town.
Ramani catches wind of a dangerous, traitorous job and works to build a team to complete it. Her team consists of her brother- a charming loose canon, her best friend- a klepto with deep pockets, a trader whose mother might faint if she finds out who he hangs out with, a representative's daughter who wants to right her father's wrongs, and an orphan seeking asylum who can't seem to get out of Ramanis head.
