So he considers himself luckey, well maybe not luckey, dying of hunger in a small room a virgin didn't really scream luck, it might not have been the worst way to go but it was definitely up there, just a above being beaten to death, between being skinned alive, and right below whatever happened to his classmates. He sighs partially excepting his fate while also being to emaciated and tired to do anything about it.
