Summary
After many years of tension building between Korea and their neighboring pirates it finally came to a head when a world renowned pirate captain named Kim Hongjoong initiates a particularly devastating raid. Leaving the countries leaders no other options but to retaliate with an assault to the island of Tsushima, a known pirate haven.
Although, before it could happen a string of events lead Hongjoong to stumble upon the countries appointed crown prince, Park Seonghwa and he becomes wise to the foreseen attack. Something that Koreas leaders didn’t know was that this onslaught would lead to a war like battle between them. Thus to avoid anymore bloodshed Hongjoong makes a hasty decision and takes Seonghwa hostage till a deal is made.
Yet not much after the pirate captains ship goes down. Luckily though it happened close by to an island but a deserted one at that. Where a mysterious doppelganger curse manifests seemingly to reap the groups past sins.
So these two souls who absolutely despised each others existence were now forced to rely fully on one another to survive. However, unsuspectedly a sort of fondness and affection starts to grow between them when they realize they are not that different.
