Summary
A face peeks out from under the quilt then, and- what the fuck! Two eerily familiar dark eyes meet his. Since when did Zam have a kid?!
The boy’s cheeks are rounded with lingering baby-fat, and his nose is rounder, and he’s missing one of his front teeth… But beyond that, he’s Zam’s spitting image — golden skin, angular features, dark eyes with long lashes, and a mop of curly hair. He’s even got Zam’s crown on, even though it’s way too big for him and hangs over one eye like an eyepatch.
“Depends who’s asking,” comes the sharp, quiet reply. Zam’s kid has her snark, it seems.Or, Lifesteal Season 6 ends on Sunday. Two issues with that: Zam's going into it almost entirely alone - against a team of 6! - and Spoke wants to help her. As usual, Spoke's help involves ruining (almost) everyone's day, but Zam finally gets that nap, at least, so it works out.

Summary
They say, when the body is in fight-or-flight, it’ll push down anything that isn’t directly related to survival. Problems don't go away, just suppressed, as long as needed to make it out alive. And then it comes back full force and without warning when fight-or-flight ends — when the body knows it’s safe again.
That’s probably why it all comes crashing down so fast.

Summary
When the weather warms, Branzy finds himself standing on the edge of a forest wearing a mix of camouflage and black tactical gear. It’s too early to be too hot yet, thankfully, so he’s not yet sweating. When Ferre puts a semi-automatic gun in his arms and instructs him how to hold it, though, he knows he’ll be drenched by the time they go home.
Next to him, watching, Kab snickers, “It’s a paintball gun, not a rocket launcher.”
“What’s the difference?” Branzy quips back. He sticks his tongue out at her.

Summary
It’s their first anniversary, when the topic of Branzy moving in is first brought up. The entire day had been spent together, doing various cheesy, romantic things together, so it makes sense a discussion about the future would happen then.
It takes 18 days for Branzy and Clown to figure out what exactly they want and write it all down.
And those days in between? Plenty of time for Rek and Ferre to subtly push the two against moving in together.

Summary
Branzy thinks of himself as a normal guy, all things considered. Maybe a little eccentric, a little strategically reckless, sure, but normal.
And he's got a boyfriend who isn’t normal, who owns too many properties to be considered "grounded" and moves through the world a touch too intensely for most people to feel comfortable.
Branzy is relatively ordinary and Clown isn’t, and they love each other. It isn't a problem until it is. Maybe Branzy should've paid more attention to that.
