Summary
Marc and Nath have always been inseparable. Their relationship is disrupted by an accident that doesn't harm Nath but leaves him with fragmented memories—including those of his romance with Marc. Isagi blinks, eyes flickering across Rin’s face as he looks down his busted nose at him.
“What? No way.” Isagi croaks.

“Nick,” Karl calls after him. He is following right behind Sapnap, chasing him down despite Sapnap’s speedwalking. Theodora’s hand is wrapped tightly in his as he makes every step that Sapnap takes.
Sapnap slows down until he finally decides to stop. Why is Karl not letting him leave? He turns around and pushes his sunglasses up again. His green eyes meet with Karl’s bright blue ones, and suddenly it's like he’s the palm tree on land and Karl is the sea. They are so close, connected despite not directly touching, and still so far away from one another. As he looks in Karl’s eyes, he sees the younger version that he once loved. He made a promise with him once, and as he looks into his eyes now, he knows he would start all over again if he could.
OR: Ten years after their breakup, Sapnap discovers Karl Jacobs in Florida through helping a little girl find her father. He's going to make the right choice and leave them be, but it seems impossible when everything is telling him they are meant to be in each other's lives.

Far out in the future, there's a large, intricately designed town surrounded by a tall wall. The citizens of this place have never left, have never even dreamed of leaving. Their lives are here, under the thumb of The Leader. They worship him like a God, they take the pills he doles out like candy, and spend the dimes they make working for him on the things he sells.
But now, most citizens are dead or walking corpses (zombies), and those left are having to fight for survival, well, their leader goes radio silent. Following a handful of survivors, some of whom know more about this place's history than others, they will have to do whatever they can just to stay alive. And hopefully learn the truth about the man they consider their God and what he has done to them and those before.
