The sun streaming through his blinds the next morning sends knives into Jean’s skull. Dear god, what is in those coolers that Connie kept handing to him? This is a hangover to end all hangovers.
Jean rolls over and grabs his water bottle off of his bedside table. He props himself up on an elbow and gulps from the bottle. It tastes like the nectar of the gods. A drop of water streams from the bottle and down his neck. Jean doesn’t move to wipe it off. It feels refreshing.
His relief stops a moment later when his legs disappear and he grows a tail.
Or: H2O: Just Add Water but with Jean, Sasha, and Connie as the merfolk. Reiner is a crunchy ecodaddy, Jean is a punk, Sasha and Connie are along for the ride.

Summary
The newest Hashira was an oddity and a mystery. Only a few years older than Muichiro, but seemingly so much more a child. Loud and displeasing to the ear, crying and wailing constantly, Giyuu didn’t understand how a coward such as Agatsuma Zenitsu could have ever reached a rank such as theirs, particularly without even so much as a shred of evidence regarding his skill.
It was one of the very few things he and the other Hashira distinctly agreed upon. The boy did not belong. He was unfit to be a slayer, a protector. The boy was a liability, and now, every day he would disappear, up into the mountains of the prefecture they were in, in the middle of winter with Demons supposedly about.

Robert’s sure he could turn it into a joke. A group of ex-villains walk into a bar and harass their ex-hero boss on off hours. Not that they know that. Not that he’s technically even still ex-hero now he’s got the suit back.

The Z team don’t like the fact that Mecha Man’s about to take their dispatcher for his own personal tech support. They have a lot of loyalty for the man keeping them from going back to some less than comfortable cells.
Robert was unaware of his “promotion”.

Summary
Agatsuma Zenitsu was an annoying mystery to try and figure out.
It's something that the Hashiras can agree on. Just meeting him was enough for them to know. He was just a few years older than Tokito, and yet that blond thunder brat was more of a child than the Mist Hashira was. Loud, annoying, a fucking crybaby. A liability. He was a goddamn child. How did a child like him ever reach the position of a Hashira, let alone become a demon slayer? It was stupid. He was more annoying than Tomioka fucking Giyuu with his ‘I'm not like all of you’ attitude.
All of the Hashiras had a similar train of thought. The blond boy was an anomaly within the rest of the Hashiras. A coward like him did not deserve this rank. He did not deserve to be one.
