Summary
The last thing Giyū saw was the horrible creature known as Muzan crawling away to another part of their quickly crumbling world, taking the hashira who could still fight with him, and the bodies of those who no longer couldn't, behind him. Giyū was the latter, trying to stand up even through the sea of blood at his feet. He was dying.
Why was this happening? Wasn't the slayer mark supposed to boost his survival?
Turns out, it did. Maybe a little too well.
Fate had once again chosen the wrong person to save, Giyū thought, back in his thirteen year old body, staring at his dead childhood friend right in the face. Tanjiro would have been so much better at time travel.

Summary
Only two people knew about Giyu being trans. That being Mr. Urokodaki and Sabito. They both accepted him for it. The both of them didn't care if Giyu was female or male, he was still a person who deserved to be treated right.
Giyu's now the Water Hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps. In final selection Sabito sacrificed his life to protect Giyu. Giyu couldn't be more thankful, but he blamed himself for it. Everyday Giyu thought about Sabito, and how he cared for him as a brother. Those happy moments Giyu thought about were the only ones to make him smile. Around others, he showed no emotion. He also didn't know how the other Hashiras would react if he told them he's trans. He already gets picked on enough, he didn't need anymore hate form the other Hashiras.
One day, Ubuyashiki called a Hashira meeting to introduce a new Hashira who also used water breathing. They had peach hair, and wore a fox mask. Giyu thought he was imagining things until he heard their name. Sabito...

After an entire week of Tomioka not showing up to the demon slayer corps and not answering his letters later, Ubuyashiki decides to send both Sanemi and Iguro to his Mansion to check on him. Iguro wasn't very fond of this mission and neither was Sanemi...or was he? Had he really fallen in love with that man that he swore he disliked with all his passion? Did he really?...no this must be some sort of misunderstanding. Surely his mind jests right? The master deliberately send them on this mission giving away all the missions to the other Hashiras as a sort of way to help them bond. Ubuyashiki wanted all his pillars to get along with eachother afterall since they may have to go on missions together and hostility isn't a good thing amongst two teammates. Ugh is this a joke!?
Both of them go to his Mansion only to find a super depressed and sick Tomioka. A sight that was rather unexpected to the both of them. -
