They straighten up with a smile that curves their deep red lips, eyes set on Jasper. “You’re a quick one, huh?”
Aguiar growls. “Was that necessary?”
“No need to be so touchy, Aguiar.” Their tone is lilting, sweet as they turn their gaze back on him. “Who’s this, then?”
Jasper, meanwhile, is a little distracted—because this new arrival is, possibly, the prettiest person he’s ever seen.
Or: Four years into Jasper's training, Aguiar brings him to meet some new people. One of them takes a particular interest in Jasper. Also, a plot for a ritual is underway. Also, Jasper develops a crush.

“Don’t you want to join us?”
The idea is… tempting. Escarlata is, of course, wonderful, and it would be a lie to say Jae hasn’t considered Aguiar before this moment. He’d be… interesting in bed, they’re sure.
But on the other hand – Jae is tired. And they brought Aguiar here so he could recuperate. It might be better for them to just rest. Maybe he should just be allowed his turn.
“Nope,” Jae decides. He leans back to lounge against the couch cushions, throwing one leg over the other. “I’ll watch this time.”
During their afternoon at the Couraças' base, Aguiar impresses Escarlata enough to catch her interest. Jae gets to watch.

Summary
Pac forgets to breathe. He drops to his knees in the middle of the street, and scrabble his hands in the dirt.
He checks the communicator again. There's a few more people awake, but... No Fit, no Tubbo, no Mike, no Bagi or Forever... Of the handful of people, the one he knows best is Philza - and while he's happily looked after the man's children, and he's been quite happy to chat or fight together in the past... Philza Minecraft is a legend, and he's never really spoken much without Fit there as a buffer.
But the other option is staying here alone, and he promised Fit that if he started feeling like this again he'd ask someone for company.

Summary
An AU in which Jasper's family lived in Paraná, and he was not found by the Order.
Instead, after killing his cult-leading parents at seventeen, Jasper is found and taken in by the local police delegate, Aguiar—a disciplined, impersonal man who likes the company of his dogs more than people and has... something lurking beneath.
Aguiar, meanwhile, looks at Jasper and sees the potential for this kid to be greater. Instead of being something that is fearful, Jasper can be something that is feared.

Summary
Careful as not to disturb the thing of beauty sleeping in the next bed over, Labirinto whispers to Jae, “...We’re going to have to explain this to the others somehow.”
At that, Jae rolls his eyes so hard that his whole head rolls with it: “Labiriiiiiinto—”
“Shhh—”
“—why do you have to remind me?” he complains. “What happened to being in the moment. Huh? Can’t you just take a good thing for what it is?”
Jae reaches up Labirinto’s bare chest and lazily walks his fingers up his pec, passing hickies, blurred lipstick, and artful scratches.
“Because this was definitely a good thing.”

Or, after finding a 'new path' with Escarlata, Labirinto lies back in bed and begins to turn over the ramifications of what he and Jae have just done. Jae, in response, offers their unique perspective on the whole matter.

Summary
The stench of the broken, burning fuse mingles with the heavy scent of nighttime rain. Aguiar stands at the corner of one of the kitchen windows and peers inside at tonight's victims.
What he sees makes him sigh. “They came to check the fuse box and immediately got distracted rummaging through the cupboards,” he gripes. He puts his back against the wall, out of sight from those inside. “These idiots aren't going to make for very good prey at all. Would you go kill them faster, please.”
Leaning on the wall beside him, Jae is holding up a pocket mirror and putting on a fresh layer of lipstick. “Yeah, one sec.”

Summary
They’re…gentle with Jasper. They run their fingers through his hair, whisper molasses-dark sweetness in his ear, press soothing kisses over the bites they dot on his neck. He doesn’t understand why. He doesn’t understand how. He knows love hurts, both giving and receiving, and nowhere is that more true than with Remi and Maria.
Love hurts. It has to hurt. If it doesn’t hurt now, it will hurt later. It’s only a matter of time.
It’s agony—days, weeks spent bracing for the blow to finally land. Sometimes, Maria’s smile turns sharp and Jasper tenses, this is it. Other times, Remi clenches his fists and Jasper braces, this is it.
But it never is. Maria’s smile smooths out, Remi releases his fists, and Jasper is left feeling so suddenly bereft that it almost makes him nauseous.

Or, there is something wrong in Jasper's relationship with Remi and Maria: It doesn't hurt.
(OR, Jasper has an ingrained association between love and pain. When his partners don't hurt him, well—he is confused, and eventually, distressed. This leads him to making some questionable choices.)

After apprehending the Marked at his orphanage, Gal leaves Elizabeth Webber to bleed out while the other agents watch. He didn't account for the H0ST's machinations, which put Erin Parker and Fernando Carvalho in reach of Elizabeth and the other agents just in time.
Liz lives long enough to get back to the Order's base, and Joui takes up a vigil at her bedside.
