After the StarCourt Mall burns down, Jane, newly powerless and still living with Hopper, finds that she wants to try and truly live for the first time in her life, she wants to figure out what she loves and who she is, the ugly, the good, all of it.
Upon discovering a love for musicals and mythology, Dustin suggests she could write her own musical as a passion project, whilst continuing to discover more about herself, Jane decides to try it out.
She figures out school, how to garden, how to keep up her friendships and slowly begins to figure out who Jane Hopper is as her skill with the pen grows and she begins to wonder if her little passion project could perhaps be useful to the school’s drama club.

OR: Jane writes Hadestown while discovering herself, falling in love and learning how to live. And eventually, gets plenty of friends involved.
There will be exploration of Jane’s dynamics with the entire party cause I feel like she didn’t interact enough with them. Mutual jealousies with Will that are discussed, her and Max being best friends, her and Lucas being the most protective of the group, etc.

It was the first day of November, 1887 and Holly had just finished a conversation with Mr.Whatsit, The next minuet she was in a big screen like thingy behind that. There was also a few odd chairs, many blankets, Pillows, drinks, food, a sign saying bathrooms and a door that was open and looked the exact same as the one she was in it just didn't have the screen.
She then heard another Voice and some thuds and then there was other people.

Summary
Hawkins, Texas. 1874. A small town with nothing much to attract attention. For the people that live there, like Steve Harrington, heir to the Harrington Ranch, it’s home. For anyone else, it’s just another place to pass through on the way deeper into the Wild West. Strange then that two newcomers would arrive on the same day, and send the town and its people into a spiral.
First, Doctor Martin Brenner – promising jobs in some new mines, despite it being common knowledge that Hawkins’s hills are dry of anything precious.
And second, Eddie Munson, a mystery man searching for something precious of his own. He wants nothing from anyone, even if he keeps finding himself smack-bang in the middle of trouble he could use all the help he can get getting out of.
To Steve, none of this can be a coincidence. Something is going on that he and the rest of his posse need to get to the bottom of, in order to keep their town safe. Getting close to Eddie proves difficult, much as Steve feels drawn to him. Getting answers out of Brenner seems impossible. But if he can’t find a way to do one or the other, the home he cares for so much might be wiped right off the map.

Summary
When the portal to another dimension continues to grow inside Hawkins National Laboratory, Dr. Brenner decides to send Number Five through for recon. The only other child that survived the massacre besides Eleven, Five's psychokinetic abilities aren't what the Lab hoped for. The talent they have listed in her (very short) record is the manipulation of electricity, a rather destructive ability that cost a fortune to manage anyway. They send her through the portal, cutting the loss when the harness they put her in comes back empty and covered in blood.
But Five isn't dead. She saw an opportunity to break free and she took it. Out of the Lab's reach and no longer inhibited by sedatives and Soteria, Five's impressive electrokinesis and killer instincts will flourish when she lands in the care of Good People following her chance encounter with a young boy trapped in the Upside Down. With time, she’ll learn to navigate every day life in Hawkins and make friends outside of the Party, but it’s the town’s resident metalhead that will see her for what she truly is and what she is ultimately capable of.

He leaves one draped across her shoulders as he turns to talk to the others again, and she can’t focus on what they’re talking about, smiling off into the middle-distance as they jabber on.
His fingers fiddle with the edge of her t-shirt sleeve as she finishes her drink in one gulp, but his arm pulls away too soon, making her focus back in on what’s going on. Her heart falls as he walks away. “See you guys later.” He jogs a little through the cleared out room, slipping through the door that leads backstage.
“Bye,” Steve calls sarcastically. “Well, that was short and sweet.”
