Let’s see how he likes the risk of being caught by their friends. He puts his thumb on Mike’s bottom lip, pulling it down softly. Mike’s eyebrows raise, a playful look on his face. He holds eye contact as he dips his head, closing both his lips around Will’s thumb sucking down to the knuckle in his mouth before pulling off with a small kiss. Fuck. It was a bad idea.
Mike knew it was a bad idea from the get go.
He and Will were at his house without the rest of the party. Dustin was spending the day with his mother since it's her birthday meanwhile Max and Lucas had a date they'd been planning for a long time, so when Mike called, only Will said he was free.
That's how they ended up in his bedroom with a diskette that Mike should definitely not have and the door locked.

It was only August 4th, but they had wanted to get settled into the apartment before classes started, so much to both of their mothers dismay, they cut their last summer in Hawkins short to in Max’s eloquent words “Fuck around and play house while the rest of us are stuck in a fucking shit hole for a month and a half” and if the comment made both of them blush red no one mentioned it.
“Do you want to do our rooms or the kitchen first because I think kitchen, it’s already 3:30 and I want to eat dinner tonight, there's a couch and a recliner in here if we want to just do the stuff out here? “Like, Mason, for fucking one.” Mike groans, untangling one of his hands to coarse through his bangs. He pushes it back, revealing his beautifully expressive brows. They curve, swoop, frown. Will holds back the urge to kiss it better. “And the fact that I knew your heat was coming but couldn’t get you to the nurse’s office fast enough. The fact that I couldn’t even stand up to Mason and his lackeys. That you did and I let you.”
If anybody else had said that, Will would’ve been offended. But coming from Mike, he knows he didn’t say that to mean he thinks Will can’t protect himself. He knows that he can. He was the only one to know it. Instead, it loosens Will’s control over his pheromones and a puff of affection shoots out.
Mike picks up on it, obvious from his quick sniff, but he keeps rambling on anyway. “The fact that that mouthbreather’s pheromones are what triggered your heat when it should have been mine,” he snarls out the last few words.
