Summary
2014, Camp Chitaqua. Upon meeting the past version of Dean sent by Zachariah, Castiel knows only one thing for certain:
Very soon, he's going to die.
So he decides he might as well go out with a bang and enjoy one last night on Earth with this more innocent, less cynical Dean.
What he doesn't expect is for a single night of desperate passion to leave him pregnant, carrying a child who ends up saving both his and Dean's lives.
2015, Lebanon, Kansas. Castiel, Dean and Sam have been carrying on with "saving people, hunting things" along with dodging one apocalypse after another for years. While hunkered down in the bunker recovering from Rowena's mad dog spell, Cas is surprised to have another Dean, along with a heavily pregnant version of himself, come stumbling through a fiery rift and into their lives.
In the process of preparing for the birth of a powerful nephil, secrets of the past are revealed and relationships put to the test in ways none of them could have ever anticipated. Meanwhile, the threat of The Darkness looms and leaves them wondering: could this child be the one to save them all?

Summary
A one shot collection that fills in the gaps of Castiel's journey and his relationship with Dean.
Intentionally canon compliant, but with a Destiel twist using my own head canon for things canon doesn't discuss or leaves vague; bridging the subtext to actual text.
The two Explicit entries, one for violence and one for smut, can be skipped if preferred. The 'chose not to use archive warnings' is for major character death in the violent skippable entry and it is not a real death of that character.

Summary
The crowning achievement of Castiel’s existence has been the salvation of Dean Winchester. But now, with his stolen grace tearing him apart from the inside out, Cas could use a little salvation himself.
Dean, even demonised by the Mark of Cain, is more than happy to offer everything Cas could ever need or want. He just wants Cas to say yes first.

Summary
“I dunno, man, I don’t really think of it like that. Time wasn’t like that in the cage. And, especially after Cas took a lot of it, the whole thing feels, you know, apart,” Sam says.
And it’s true. Like his time in the cage is part of a different life, one mostly remembered but only half-felt. Just as distant as his days at Stanford. Just as distant as his days with Ruby. Maybe he’s just too good at extracting the pieces of his history that are painful. Maybe Dean is so stuck in his pain because he’s just a bit more human than Sam is.
“That’s good. That’s really good, Sammy.”
OR
Chuck's been defeated. Jack is gone. Cas is dead. Sam is ready to build a new life but Dean's grief threatens to consume him entirely. Sam, Eileen, and even Claire all want to help Dean through this darkness, but they worry it's only a matter of time before Dean can't keep fighting it anymore.
Dean’s loved ones watch as he monumentally self-destructs while grieving his angel. There will be eventual happiness.

Summary
There is a place beyond memory where time has not yet fractured into past and future. Where silence breathes and light sings.
The Aethermere.
It was there a soul brushed against a star. It was there they twined in light and song. It was there they loved.
But time was born and with it, endings. Torn apart, the soul was pulled to life while the star was left to linger. To watch. To wait.
To fall.
⋆⋆⋆⋆
Dean Winchester has spent his life aching for something he can't name. His whole life, he's been haunted by dreams of song and loss, and felt an emptiness as though part of himself is missing.
It follows him across every year, every mile, even across the ocean. After Sam's wedding, he sets off to explore Ireland but the ache persists. It's there in crowded pubs, ancient ruins, the wild crash of waves against the cliffs.
Until he meets a stranger. A man he knows but has never met. A man who sings a song Dean has only ever heard in his dreams. A man his soul recognizes.
But the old ways aren't kind. Magic has rules. Tethers can be snapped. What's found can be lost; what's given can be taken back.
They found each other once.
Can they find each other again?
