Summary
A shared job between Edward and James takes a horrific turn when Edward is the victim of a horrible accident. An accident so horrible that he's sent to the steamworks with no way to know for sure if he'll make it out okay. The engines are met with the possibility that he may be beyond repair, where there could be no choice but to scrap him.
With Edward's fate in the air, his friends are left to deal with the extreme emotions that anyone would go through at a time like this. No engine has quite the same experience. Whether it be a growing frustration at the world, an insistence that everything will be fine, or a desire to work harder than ever. No one's getting out of this in one piece.
OR, I inadvertently made S21's "Springtime for Diesel" but it's Edward instead of Daisy, and arguably a lot more serious.
(Aight, all those misspellings of 'Knapford' should be fixed now)

Мій хедканон, який, скоріш за все, не стане реальністю, і від цього ще болючіше. Кайра втратив свою сестру 10 років тому. З тих пір він витратив неймовірну кількість грошей, зусиль та часу, аби знайти хоч когось, хто міг би повернути Кейрін до цього світу. Він впевнений, що вона жива - просто її душа закована у магічному кристалі без можливості вибратись. Потрібно тільки знайти вмілого чаклуна, або жреця, або науковця, що допоміг би дістати її!
Їм було по 12, коли це сталось. Кайра сильно змінився з того часу: подорослішав, погрубішав. Колись щирий і добрий хлопчик перетворився на цинічного вбивцю-садиста, а його зв'язок із демоном проявляється фізично на його тілі. Кейрін же в цьому хедканоні зникла з реальності та повернулась такою, як і була. Для неї не минуло і хвилини.
* Цю замальовку я написала однією з перших. На той момент Кайра ще мав "стару" зовнішність без шипів, рогів та кігтистої руки. Натомість, я описую чорні вени на правій стороні обличчя і тіла, та інфернальне праве око. Зараз його зовнішність сильно змінилась і він більше схожий на тифлінга, ніж на півельфа, але я надто сентиментальна до цієї історії, щоб вносити якісь зміни до неї.
