Izuku smiles faintly. “Good. Thanks.”
Neither of them move. Hawks continues to stare at him like – well, no metaphor is going to top what actually happened, so he’s just going to stop. Hawks’ eyes are narrowed, suspicious, like he’s not really sure Izuku is there. He guesses he understands. Seeing someone die and come back to life is probably a little world-altering. For Izuku, though, it's really just another Tuesday.
