Yagi Toshinori awoke completely unable to move. He couldn’t even open his eyes! His body was entirely under the control of All for One and his son, whom the villain presented Toshinori as a gift to. Any attempt at disobedience was met with agonizing physical pain.
Toshinori promised himself he would rescue the boy from All for One’s wicked grasp before the villain could make either of them do something they will regret, but the boy might just have been too far gone, and Toshinori- deep in his core- recognized himself as too much of a failure to save anyone. -

Izuku Midoriya was just a normal 4 year old boy who loves heroes. 6 months after his Fourth Birthday, his Quirk hadn't come in yet, so his mother Inko took the boy to the doctor to get a diagnosis. Izuku, after having the tests run on him, is told he does have a Quirk, and at that it's a Quirk Mutation meaning it's totally unrelated to his parents' Quirks. Izuku went home that day happy and went to school the day after even happier, ready to tell his best friend of his Quirk. That friend then proceeded to attack him with his Quirk and left him on the floor. That day, Izuku lost his best friend and as the years passed, he still couldn't figure out what exactly his Quirk is. That is, until his first year in High School, where he had a chance encounter with the Number One Hero that changed his life for the better.
Wanna find out more? Well then my friend, read the story itself. I don't have a schedule for this story outside of "When it's done, it's done", and I do have people proof reading it. That being said, if you notice any grammatical errors, feel free to comment about it and I'll fix it ASAP. First time trying to write a story so keep that in mind. Izuku reread the definition a few times.
It wasn't as though Izuku had never heard of vigilantes. He even had notes on a few interesting ones. He knew illegal quirk use was probably a big factor in it being, well, illegal. He just hadn't realized quirk use was what made somebody a vigilante. It was sort of odd. He expected the definition to be more… inclusive, he supposed. What if somebody just didn't use their quirk? It couldn't apply to mutations unless they had emitter or transformation qualities, right? It couldn't apply to-

He couldn't be a vigilante.
They couldn't arrest him for being one.
