It is now the day of the general U.A.U Entrance Exams, and Izuku is standing there with his three friends. Momo and Setsuna are there to watch the exams with him due to making it via recommendations, and Itsuka being here to actually take the exams. Izuku, after going to the cafe with the former two, made quick friends and he decided to introduce them to Itsuka. Thus the last month or so has been filled with tons of hangouts with his new friend-group. From relaxing at Momo’s favorite cafe (which by pure coincidence is also Itsuka’s) and studying for final exams, to going to a museum to, quote “See some dinosaurs” according to Setsuna, to even just a group training session with Itsuka to prepare for her entrance exam. However, the day has now arrived, and Itsuka is shitting her britches.
After taking a few minutes to calm her down however, a certain blonde haired pomeranian walks by them and intentionally shoulder checks Izuku. Izuku, noticing Bakugo, pays him no mind and simply ignores the shoulder check while his friends all call him out for being rude. Bakugo pays “Deku and his extras” no mind however, and simply walks in. He tried to interrogate “Deku” the day after the recommended exams, but got no answer from the mop haired kid other than a simple “Piss off” and a kick to his little blonde bombers (a kick that did nothing more than make him extremely angry as Izuku walked away from the situation). Overall, their relationship hasn’t really changed too much the past month outside of Bakugo being more aggressive towards him again.
As the four walk in, Izuku thinks back to the conversation he and Itsuka had the day before about her entrance exams “Yo Itsuka, if you want, I can lend you the ring to use in case of emergencies”. Itsuka hears this and almost immediately denies the idea “Nah, sorry Izuku, I want to get in on my own merits. Thanks for the offer though” Izuku, hearing this, simply nods and leaves her be. As Izuku’s thought ends, he and the other two recommendees walk in the other direction to be escorted to the teacher’s lounge to hang out in while they wait for the practical to start. Itsuka, on the other hand, walks up to the front door and gets herself checked in, ready to start her written exams.
Meanwhile, on the other side of campus
Shoto Todoroki is deeply annoyed. After he took and failed his recommended exams last month for U.A.U, his father nearly burnt down their home in anger at his “perfect creation” failing the exams and needing to take the standard exam. Shoto couldn’t get it either, what do you mean he “Didn’t show his full potential”? He only needs his mother’s ice, he has no need for the bastard’s fire. Nonetheless, Shoto only had one goal in mind today: make it into U.A.U using only his ice. He will become the Number One Hero without his fire. He swears on it, for his mother, and for his siblings.
Two Hours Later
As the written exams are finishing up, the group of recommended students are grabbed by All Might (Or as the other three recommended students know him as: Mr Yagi) to enter the observation room. Izuku and his friends walk towards the room with their fellow recommendee behind them, with him saying his name was Honenuki Juzo. Their fellow recommended student seemed nice enough despite his slightly odd appearance, and they had some nice chats with the boy during those 2 hours. The four enter the room to see the entire faculty of U.A.U sitting in chairs and quietly chatting amongst themselves. Said faculty including…some homeless guy with a scarf? Even Izuku didn’t know who that guy was, and to his friends+Honenuki? That says a lot. The rest of the faculty were more easily recognizable thankfully, including the Voice Hero: Present Mic, The Rated R Hero: Midnight, the Cement Hero: Cementoss, the Cowboy Hero: Snipe, the Ghost Hero: Ectoplasm, the Blood Hero: Vlad King, the Excavation Hero: Power Loader, and President Nezu himself.
Izuku and his group go to sit down, but before anything Izuku walks up to the President to whisper “Sir if you need, me and Momo are on standby to fuse incase you need us” to which the President nods and shoos him away to sit. Izuku, Momo, and Setsuna all shared one thought: ‘GOOOOOOOOOOO ITSUKAAAAAAAAAAAAAA’.
5 Minutes Later, Outside Site B
Itsuka, now wearing her orange tracksuit and a pair of elastic fingerless gloves, is sitting outside the city that U.A.U calls a simple “Site” despite being as big as a small Japanese city. Nonetheless, the girl is sitting on the ground, trying to pump herself up and meditate a little to no avail. Frustrated a bit, Itsuka gets up and decides to do some stretches as she scouts her competition, seeing a nervous boy with a rock shaped head, a girl Itsuka could confidently call “Emo”, a boy with silver hair and sharp teeth, and a kid with purple hair who looks like he’s going to pass out at any moment. Itsuka finishes her stretching, fully ready for the exam as Present Mic screams over the intercom a simple “GOOOOOOOOOOOOO” to which Itsuka jumps right into action and runs in the gate.
Itsuka uses her headstart to rush straight into the city, and finds a group of 5 one pointers, 3 two pointers, and 1 three pointer, to which Itsuka runs up to the group, dodging and weaving around them as she enlarges her fists and destroys the three pointer first, before picking up a one pointer to slam into the other robots, destroying 2 other one pointers and a two pointer as the one pointer she used also breaks. Itsuka then swings her fist to the right to destroy the rest. ‘14 points, I’ve got this’ Itsuka thinks as she runs further into the city, ready to kick robot butt (Robutt if you will).
7 Minutes Later (cough cough, Albert Wesker, cough cough)
Itsuka would say the exam has been going well so far. She has accumulated around 40 points or so. After the rest of the students caught up to her, she ended up having to pick off more and more robots one at a time.
At one point, she saw the purple haired boy surrounded by a group of 4 two pointers, before she rushed in and tried to help him. Itsuka and the boy were surrounded, but Itsuka had an idea as she pulled a stop sign out of the ground and handed it to the boy, confusing him slightly but he went along with it regardless, as they fought off the two pointers and each got 4 points. The boy looked at her after with a bit more confusion but decided to accept the kindness and gave a quick “Thanks” before he ran off with his new improvised weapon. After that, Itsuka was just running around destroying more robots as we cut back to the present, with Itsuka fighting a one pointer, smashing it into a million pieces, and feeling the ground suddenly shake. Looking to her left, she sees a kaiju-sized robot. Itsuka just stares at the robot for a second, jaw dropped so much that a fly could’ve flown into her mouth, before hearing a scream for help.
Itsuka rushes immediately into danger and sees the girl she described earlier as “Emo” trapped under rubble. Itsuka tries to lift the rubble, but it’s a bit too heavy for her on her own. Then, Itsuka feels somebody helping her lift up the rubble, and she looks to her right seeing the purple haired boy from earlier, trying to use the end of the stop sign she gave him to help keep the rubble off the ground. The boy succeeds and with Itsuka’s help, lifts the rubble off the other girl’s leg as Itsuka goes to pick her up and hearing a scream from the girl, turning around and seeing the Zero Pointer upon her. That is, before a force rushes straight into the robot and hears a loud clank of its mechanical parts.
A Couple Minutes Earlier, In The Observation Room
Everybody in the room was panicking. The Zero Pointers in both sites B and D were malfunctioning, and that was a problem. The Zero Pointers had their limiters removed, letting them seriously go in for the kill on students. Out of everybody on the staff, only All Might could really take one out with no trouble, and there were two.
Izuku ran straight up to the President and asked for permission, to which Izuku was given a rare panicked “Yes” from him. Izuku nods and screams to Momo “WE’RE UP MOMO” to which the girl nods, as the two position themselves properly, and do the motions correctly. This, of course, resulted in the birth of a new fusion. Stepping out of the light is a relatively tall person, wearing a serious expression, a hairstyle most similar to Momo’s but green instead, an outfit similar to Setzuku’s but with red and green boots instead of blue and green boots, with a red belt on their pants. The fusion quickly speaks up “CALL US YAOYODORIYA, AND WE’RE ON OUR WAY TO HELP. NEZU, GIVE US THE EXACT COORDINATES OF SITE B, STAT” to which the President obliges and a black hole quickly opens and the fusion steps through.
The fusion enters the battlefield, wearing a serious look before they transform, growing to be 7 feet tall and growing a pair of wings that look like a bat’s. That is, before the combination then uses Frustration in order to grow both taller and stronger, now standing at 7’6 with bulging muscles. The fusion also creates a sword out of its stomach and uses another Quirk to transfer energy into it.
Yaoyodoriya then flies off as fast as they can past the Zero Pointer and makes a swiping motion with their sword onto its neck. This results in a loud clank, as the head of the Zero Pointer falls to the ground along with the main body. Thankfully it doesn’t fall in the direction where the fusion felt other people at, and the fusion then goes to the ground, deactivating their Quirks but still holding the sword.
Yaoyodoriya, seeing who was there, lightened up a bit before saying “Ah Itsuka, good to see you. You hurt?” as Present Mic called the exam finished. Itsuka finally snapped out of it, and replied with a “Yeah, thanks” before remembering the hurt girl. “Oh right, this girl over here is hurt, can you heal her?”. The fusion nods and walks over to the girl, using Energy Transfer to re-energize her and speed up her healing process (Note: Itsuka knows about the Quirks Izuku holds, which is why she knows to ask). It only takes a minute, but the girl’s ankle is good as new and she finally speaks up “Ahhhhhh that’s much better, thanks dude. My name's Jiro Kyoka, you?” to which the fusion quickly responds “Ah, well this form is called Yaoyodoriya, we’re a fusion of two people. One is named Midoriya Izuku and the other is Yaoyorozu Momo”. Kyoka hears this and goes “Wait fusion? Is that why you’re dressed like that? Sweet. Well after helping to save me, you wanna grab a bite after this? My treat” before turning to Itsuka and the purple haired boy “You two can join us too, you helped save me as much as these two after all”. Hearing this, the orange haired girl quickly nodded while telling Kyoka her name, and the purple haired boy pondered for a moment before shrugging and saying “Sure, names Shinso Hitoshi”. Yaoyodoriya speaks up however “Hey, is it cool if we invite our other friend Setsuna? She came here with us and Itsuka and we don’t want to leave her” to which the punk rocker quickly agreed.
The group, with the exam over, walk out of the testing area as the fusion opens a wormhole back to the observation room and tells Setsuna what the plan is, to which the lizard girl nods, giving the faculty a quick “Bye” and walking through it. The group has now gained two new members as they head to the local cafe, with Izuku and Momo defusing on the walk there and properly introducing themselves to the other two. The six have a relaxing rest of their afternoon at a cafe before all splitting up to go home (not before exchanging contact info however). Itsuka has a single thought in bed that night: ‘Well, that went well”.
