The plan is simple: get Suguru to teach him how to kiss, practice until he's good enough to get a girlfriend, and have the whole normal-guy experience he's apparently supposed to want.
Satoru Gojo is many things. He is not, it turns out, as straight as he thought he was.
Regardless, this posed a problem — because he's supposed to have done the whole girlfriend thing already. She wasn’t looking at Mira. Her voice was tight, like it hurt to speak. Mira watched her with a furrowed brow, still quiet.

She finally looked up, tears shining in her eyes.

Mira just stared at her. Wide-eyed. Silent.
Zoey’s heart dropped. “Say something.”
Mira exhaled like she’d been holding her breath for a month.
Then she visibly deflated—shoulders dropping, head tilting back against the wall—and let out a quiet, choked laugh.
