Summary
The Autobots find a young injured sparkling, apparently abandoned on Earth. She doesn’t remember her name or who her creators are, although the fact that she looks like a pint-sized copy of Megatron means they’re pretty sure they know at least one of the answers to that question.
As far as Ratchet is concerned, the Decepticons have a hell of a lot of explaining to do.

Summary
Dirk's life is tough. He spends most of his time desperately worried about his friends' lives, trying to protect them in any way he can, and usually failing in the attempt. As a packless Alpha alone in the middle of a post-apocalyptic future, he's had to learn to deal with his useless instincts and his potentially fatal ruts. It isn't easy, especially not when there's a smugly superior version of himself who doesn't have to deal hormones at all, just a text message away.
One day, he is going to meet his friends in person, and come hell or high water, they're going to be pack.
That day can't come soon enough, in Dirk's opinion.

Dig.
Don’t think.
Just.
Dig.
Put the tip of the shovel against the ground. Lay your foot on the wide metal edge. Lean your whole body weight forward, down. Feel yourself sink into the hard, baked earth.
Feel your muscles ache and complain with the strain, but don’t think about why. Don’t think about the battle you and he just fought. Don’t think of how you
lostwon.Don’t think about the body lying on the couch behind you, his eyes closed peacefully as if in sleep.
Don’t think about what you failed to tell him, in those final moments.
Just. Dig.

Summary
After spending six thousand years in Aziraphale’s company, the only thing Crowley’s sure of is that he can’t touch the angel without hurting him. Too bad he never bothered asking Aziraphale about it.
If Crowley could still feel the soft give of rich cloth under his clenched fists, surely Aziraphale could still feel the scorching heat of a demon’s hands on his skin.
If they made it out of this alive, Crowley decided, if there was anything left of the world afterwards, he’d be damned a second time if he ever put his hands on the angel again.

Summary
Ratchet has been serving as personal medic of the Primacy for vorns. He's had to learn to ignore a lot so that he can continue to do the real work at his clinic unimpeded. He knows there's a pernicious festering rust at the core of their governance, but there's nothing that a single medic can do about that, right?
Ratchet must, as always, triage his priorities. Even when it kills him to do so.

Summary
After the Taumoeba leak, after I decided to die after all and turned my ship around to save Rocky, after Rocky's frantic calculations about food supplies, Taumoeba multiplication rates, and human caloric intake needs, after we realized that with some rationing and luck I would make it, but that we were headed toward the unknown territory of trying to rapid-prototype me a life support system and synthetic food supply on an inhospitable planet: after all of that, after everything, I shouldn't have been surprised that it only took a few months on board the Hail Mary for things to get weird.
