Summary
Bruce Wayne is a bad person. He has known it almost his entire life. It’s why bad things have happened to him since he was only five years old, when two nice people ask if they can drive him to an ice cream factory, and Bruce is stupid, and follows them. It’s in every friendship, like the one Bruce and his neighbour used to have, where Bruce never enjoyed doing well, and that was wrong. It’s in every reflection of himself, like the mirrors people would press him up against as they told him he was brave, and not broken, even though he was shattered long before he ever heard those words, and never put back together. It’s in every secret Bruce has ever kept, which are buried so deep within him, that he isn’t even certain he can dig them out, and doesn’t think that he wants to. It’s in every promise— whether gifted or given —because in the end every one of them is nothing but ash.
That’s okay, though, because Bruce can endure. He can endure, because he knows by now that love is enduring things, and waiting for his reward. Yes, Bruce can endure, because that’s what love is.

"There's always a hand reaching out when he goes down the hall. It comes out from the darkness, visibility only reaching to the forearm. The fingers are splayed most of the time, but other times they wiggle up and down, trying to be enticing. Sometimes they wiggle in patterns that would be difficult to accomplish. That's how Bruce would know, if he couldn't already tell, that the hand doesn't belong to a human."
There is a creature living within a room, along the hallway on the second floor of Wayne Manor. It tries to lure him in, pretending to be something that it's not. Worst of all, it being there makes Bruce's son unable to visit. Bruce just wants to hold him again, and show him just how much he loves him. The walls he has built around their life are of the finest steel. They are made not to fall down. Nothing is everlasting however, and he's not blind, even if he wants to be. In the end, maybe there's something more to his future than a pit of grief. Maybe there's a door.

What is more special than a lasting friendship charm that they can keep somewhere to look back on? However, everything is not what it seems. Perhaps what happened at Hopes Peak Highschool in the past hasn't stayed in the past. Maybe they should have listened a little more to Tojo and Shinguji's weird stories, because now, they may have just become a reality.

Summary
Bruce has always wanted Jason to be an alpha. From the moment he presented as an alpha himself all those years ago, he's felt like he's the only one who has a hard time pretending to enjoy it. After all, most alphas must not want to be alphas anyways, because being an omega seems like the most wonderful thing in the world. If Jason were to rely on him to be an alpha, he thinks that he can finally begin to see it as a positive attribute.
He was under the impression that Jason wanted that too, but now it doesn't seem that way. Jason has been changing, and becoming less and less like the boy Bruce expected, and loved. He doesn't seem like he wants to be an alpha, and that hurts. Bruce isn't even thinking about VAD, until the test comes back for a likely genetic risk, and suddenly all of these symptoms make sense... right?
Sometimes the hardest people to show yourself to, are the ones that have buried their own selves so deep, that they no longer know who they are.

Jason curls up more tightly, wedging his nose beneath his tail so he can’t see whatever ‘adopters’ have come to peer piteously at him. He considers the logistics of making another escape attempt if the door is opened—until, that is, a boy’s voice abruptly arrests his attention.
“No,” Damian Wayne says, kneeling before Jason’s kennel. “I want this one.”
Jason encounters a villain who turns people into animals.
Damian, meanwhile, adopts a dog.

Trafficked, kidnapped, runaways… there were endless possibilities for what had happened to Richard, and Bruce didn’t know which was worse. Richard was so small. Six years old. God. Bruce had failed him. He had been too slow.

Summary
Instead of lunging at him, the monster stumbled, as it tried to stand, and Clark saw as a child's leg slipped out of a big black boot before tangling in a yellow belt, small, very childish hands trying and failing to catch it. And maybe… And maybe it wasn't a monster at all, because as Clark watched, transfixed, the kid - because it had to be a kid, he didn't seem to be older than Clark- face planted on the floor without making even a single noise.
