This is my first post on Ao3 and it's a think piece on the dynamic between Todoroki and Yaoyorozu. I created this because everyone is claiming that their relationship is supportive and respectful, but as a manga reader, I don't see it that way. So I've broken down their interactions and explain why their relationship is toxic and abusive through what the manga has provided. (Also, let me know if turning this into chapters would actually better for reading than just posting it like this, please.)
Introduction:
TodoMomo is a popular yet boring ship that’s promoted as supportive, mutually trusting and respectful, but that’s a fantasy Horikoshi didn’t create. Todoroki and Yaoyorozu treat each other with resentment, control, contempt, frustration, manipulation, intimidation, dismissal, disrespect, and betrayal. Any “respect” is limited to civility. They are not abusive people, but when paired together they project their malignant traits onto each other, subtly repeating Endeavor’s cycle of abuse. For comparison, BakuDeku is said to be the most toxic class A ship because of the early interactions, but people forget that Bakugo learns to respect Izuku as a person. Torodoki and Yaoyorozu never learn that.

However, he was stopped dead in his tracks, and shut up very quickly. When Draken literally 𝘴𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘦𝘥 at him, like a wild animal, glaring so hard it actually spooked his inner omega. Making him take an involuntary step back, when the alpha kept growling at him in a last warning.
Or: Takemichi's heat gets triggered during a fight, and Draken goes full on feral-protective-mode yay
