Summary
Evangeline "Evvie" Munson is the oddball from the trailer. The one who plays guitar too loudly, hates rules, and carries scars no one sees.
When Will Byers disappears, something inside her begins to awaken. A radar she can't turn off. A pain she doesn't understand. And the feeling that she's been in the dark before.

Summary
“Name?”
The nurse looks at him, green eyes equal parts kind and discerning.
“Steve,” he replies quickly, before he can second guess himself. He’s hoping against all hope that this nurse won’t know him on sight—and won’t know Eddie, either. A flash of the haunted look in Eddie’s brown eyes, the memory of the broken bottle against his neck, dispels any lingering doubts about Steve’s decision to lie.
“His name is Steve Harrington.”Or, a post-s4 finale, whumpy tale, where Eddie lives, Steve tells a lie, and the Party discovers there’s more to their favorite babysitter than they previously thought. Oh, and Steve and Eddie totally have a crush on one another. (We'll get there.)
Slowburn Steddie, an excuse to hurt Steve (not sorry), his dad is a POS in this, heed the tags! -

Summary
Eddie Munson has never fit—not in his body, not in his name, not in the small town that’s spent years reminding him of it.
So he builds something else instead. A life out of noise and defiance and just enough control to keep himself together.
But when that control starts to slip, Eddie is forced to face everything he’s been avoiding—who he is, what he wants, and what it might mean to actually let someone see him.

Summary
It was foolish of him to assume that with Vecna dead, life would return to normal.
When a puppet had no hands to guide it, all it could do was fall.
Thankfully, Steve's hands were already waiting to catch him.

Steve tilted his head, expression confused. “For you, of course? Well. For a lot of us. Me, too. But you, mostly.”
[...] “For me,” Eddie echoed.
[...] “Yeah. For you,” he agreed. “Focus, Eddie.”
Eddie did as he bid. They sat there, quiet and tangled, one heart loud between them. Slowly, carefully, Eddie found it did help in a weird way. It reminded him, at the very least, that Steve was alive and safe in front of him. That there existed a person beyond the prison of Eddie’s still cage.Series

Summary
Walking out of the apartment building's lobby was the last thing he remembered clearly before dissociation got its hold on him. His body moved on autopilot as he walked down the street. He barely noticed the sky grow darker or that his legs started to hurt.
NOT FINISHED.

Summary
Wayne finds Steve drunk at a bar and looking for trouble and brings him home in an effort to save him from himself. Eddie's not sure what to think.
“What you're gonna do,” Wayne says, “is come sit down at the table while I fix you something to eat and you tell me what's going on. Then I'm either gonna take you home—”
Steve freezes at that suggestion.
“—or you can stay here for the night and we'll see how things are looking in the morning."

Summary
Eddie Munson is dead, and Julie Emerson has learned to live through that notion by forcing herself to accept it.
In a town under military watch, where his death is treated like a breath of relief and his name still draws venom from those who refuse to let the satanic-panic narrative die, she keeps herself functional by refusing to linger—on the past, on the Upside Down, on the boy she watched die and swore she would never forget. Grief becomes something to manage, to contain, locked behind routine and medication and sheer force of will.
Except Eddie refuses to stay gone.
He appears in mirrors, in windows, in the quiet spaces between one breath and the next—silent, still, watching her with a familiarity that hurts worse than his absence.
When another kid vanishes and the walls between worlds begin to thin once more, Julie is forced back toward the people she’s spent eighteen months avoiding, and toward a truth she’s been running from: whatever is reaching for her through the dark isn’t just grief or madness.
It’s a pull. A tether. A rope stretched tight between two worlds—
And whatever’s holding on the other side of it doesn’t have much time left.

Summary
***Formally "The Call of Ktulu and the Song of Storge"***
Storge (στοργή): Natural, familial love; the deep instinctual love between family members
Eddie Munson thought he knew how his final senior year would go, but everything changed when a class project with Chrissy Cunningham sets off a chain of events that lands him face-first in the middle of Hawkins' supernatural war. And then there’s Steve, a merman bound to the sea by a force only a true love’s kiss can break. He never meant to get involved with a bunch of land-walking kids, let alone become their protector in a fight he doesn’t fully understand.
When a storm crashes their worlds together, Eddie and Steve find themselves on opposite sides of the shore but fighting for the same thing: the people they love.
TL;DR: A S4 retelling with found family, grief, merman lore, themes of identity, platonic true love, and Steve Harrington absolutely not coping with being a merman
(Chapters 1-7 edited, but all chapters are posted. I'm just cleaning up the flow)
