In an alternate 1976, but still in Chamberlain, Maine, Carrie White is being bullied and teased because she has a bigger than usual chest and rear end compared to the other girls. What the students don't know is this is because Carrie was born with the spirit of Mii, a spirit known for centuries to be very voluptuous and have parts of her body be very big. Carrie's mother, Margaret, after failed attempts to 'cleanse' her daughter, warns her never to unlock the full spirit of Mii. Despite a close call when practicing to dance at the prom, Carrie learns (from advise of those older than her) to embrace her disproportionate body and even scores a date with Tommy. At the prom, Carrie and Tommy are crowned as the prom queen and king, but anyone who's watched or read Carrie knows this is part of a plot by pranksters to further embarrass Carrie. Sure enough, the pig's blood gets dumped onto Carrie and the name calling and laughing return in full force. Carrie can't take the abuse anymore and breaks out the dance. You know, THAT dance…
