"Death.
A name that every being knows, whether by the word itself or the witnessing of it. Some know Death as a force to fear, an inevitable end that should be avoided as long as one can. Others know Death as a coworker, sending souls from their side of the ether to Hers, an exchange either bestowed upon them or taken up by them. Sometimes, they are just in their decision making of who to send, and who to spare. Most often, they are not.
And then there are some that simply see Death as another force. Another cog in the gears of the universe, gradually shifting and ticking away in an endless dance through time and space. Neither good nor evil, neither malevolent or kind, Death simply IS.
One such being, She noticed, was the crow."Or, Philza Minecraft's origins as a literal crow that befriended the goddess of Death, and how he became a not quite human being.

Partial Hiatus/Being Re-written
Technoblade has had enough of this world. Born into a family of royalty, he should have become a noble, a king, someone to be respected and loved. Instead, he was cast out for something he had no control over, and while Philza took him and his brother under his wing, he still was treated as....wrong....by the rest of the world.
After a series of events that left him wondering where his place in the world was, and a brutal reminder that others were not as accepting as Phil and Wilbur, Techno goes in search of a place for himself. And in a way, searches for who he his.
As he enters the Nether, he is met with more violence, more blood, and somehow, a friend. And a link to his past.Series

Philza guides his children as they grow, and struggles with all the joys that come with living in a household full of chaotic, shapeshifting boys.

“What’s wrong Phil?” the stranger chuckled. “You look like you’ve seen a ghost!”
Those were the last words Tommy heard from the strange man that day. The last words he had heard before he saw his friend, the man he’d considered almost a father, grow sheet white. The avian’s feathers flattened, his ears dropping tight against the sides of his head as he took a single step back, breath stuttering as if stifling a scream.
And then he’d shrieked.Or....
L'Manburg is actually a really quaint little medieval village that genuinely cares for its citizens as everyone works hard to take care of one another. A haven for the lost and the banished, Philza found himself there eight years ago. No one asks where he came from, no talks about his strange features, no comments on the multitude of scars across his frame. He is just another one of the strange folks within the village working to keep it going.
Until a stranger arrives to destroy it.Within a single day, all that Philza has worked for in the past eight years, everything he healed from, all the bonds he has built, are shattered.
