The White House was too quiet.
Quackity was gone most days now, slipping away into the night, and Schlatt honestly preferred when he was gone because the unsettling stares he could feel down his spine were becoming unbearable.
Quackity was the quietest Schlatt has ever seen him, and it was creepy, watching him take paperwork without a sound, just a far-off look in his eyes.
The whole country was too quiet. After the festival, after the massacre that occurred afterwards, most people stayed distant; the image of a boy, his face caved in and fire carving scars into his skin, too much for people to bear.

Tommy barely held back a sob of relief to see them. They would take care of him, bring him back to their ridiculously large apartment. He could sleep on their ridiculously comfortable couch that absolutely engulfed him on movie nights.
At some point Techno had stopped talking. Prime, everything still hurt and ached and all he wanted was to go to sleep.
AKA: Tommy is an exhausted assistant/vigilante and he runs into his bosses on patrol one night. Maybe the worst night to run into his bosses.

The election has concluded with a shocking result, with SWAG2020 party seizing the power. Through an unexpected alliance between the dark horse candidate, Schlatt, and the idealistic reformer, Quackity, they combined their votes to snatch victory from the other participating parties.
The defeat was devastatingly narrow for Wilbur and Tommy of the POG2020 party, they lost by a mere 1% of the vote, shattering Wilbur's hope of securing his place as the legitimate president of his beloved nation of L'Manberg. Forced to flee right after the results, to escape becoming the newly declared nation of Manberg first political prisoners.
The uncompromising era dawns. The administration has no intention of stepping down or yielding to dissent. To preserve it, Schlatt has executed a calculated move, to recall the prodigal son, Tubbo, back into the spotlight, a cold strategy, since the boy is a living, breathing liability with a heart and mind that could be easily weaponized by the enemies of the state, putting everything that is being built at risk.
Now, under sudden and unwanted attention, Tubbo finds himself being reshaped to fit the cruel new rules of the game, marching toward an end result he cannot yet foresee.

His imperfections somehow making him perfect and he found himself being curious about this man’s life.
Who gave him that scar?How did he get to be the way he was?
He stared at the scene a moment longer before his hands went to clutch the sphere off the stand.What was once cold to the touch felt warm and inviting and Charlie realized he wanted more.Needed more.

Honestly, fair. Still, low blow dude.
"No, I do have friends!" He didn't. Tubbo was his only friend but at this point, he was much more like a brother then friend.
"Prove it. Bring me to them, or just call them. I don't care."
He isn’t backing out now, he already dug his grave too deep to get out of it without a lecture.
"I will! I will bring them, just wait!"
And that was how Tommy made the worst decision in his life, one he would view as luck before being met with the dark reality of his life. After all, stranger danger is an important rule to follow.

Phil goes into The Murder Room, leaving the door open so Tommy can actually see Phil mop up and wipe down the blood in the room. Tommy feels a hint of sadness, knowing the blood Phil's cleaning is Dreams, but he can’t help but feel like a weight has been lifted off his back. Even if a new one is placed in its stead.
The overall argument is, Tommy's social worker would’ve come back for a wellness check, they always do, then, Tommy would get out of whatever house Dreams house was. Here, though, no one knew he was here, and there was no one, besides Phil, that would come or could check up on Tommy. He was eventually going to leave Dream, Tommy doesn’ t know if he’ll leave this house alive. Especially with how Techno already looks like he wants to kill Tommy.
Tommy blinks a few times, Phil seems to finish quickly.
“Do you want anything for tomorrow?" Tommy sends Phil a puzzled look.
“To go home?” Tommy asks in a joking manner, it earns a smile, even if it is a sympathetic one.
