Kim Dokja’s sacrificial tendencies find his wings heavy, breath caught around the sword in his chest, lungs collapsing as he choked on blood. His skull throbs in tune with his fading heartbeat as he wills his eyes to focus one last time. He needs to see them alive and well, one last time, needs to see his friends, his kids, his… protagonist.
His Salvation. The people he loves the most.
He collapses off Joonghyuk’s sword in a bloody heap, a mess of feathers and viscera. He feels the stone of a cracked throne cradle his body as his vision swims and his ears ring too loud for grieving voices to be understood.
The world smears to black.
[You have died.]
When his eyes next open, he’s met with the cold stone of the throne room he had been slain in. Instead of crumbling columns and collapsed ceilings, the hall stood pristine. A thick scent of dust made the air taste of age, yet the marble designs were timeless.
In the center of it all, just down the steps in front of him, a knight in blood red armor knelt motionless.
As if awaiting his King’s command.

Ashveil huffs. He didn’t come for food. Having successfully received the other’s interest, he boldly hops onto the bench and puts his head in Blade’s lap.
Blade’s brows raise slightly at the wolf’s brazenness, but the dim light in his eyes warms by a few degrees.

The name jolts a sudden feeling of nostalgia in Blade’s mind, surprising but not unpleasant. Familiar warmth (and a quiet, youthful admiration) blooms in his chest. He swallows, throat dry. “...Yeah?” he coughs.
“Is…” Silver Wolf hesitates, then forges onward. “Is this him?”
Blade watches as the computer monitor flickers, then reveals a photograph of an achingly familiar face.
After the Trailblazer wins the Phantasmoon Games, Blade thinks his role on Planarcadia has come to an end. Ready to leave the planet of Elation behind, he embarks on one last mission to steal crucial information from Pearl’s database - but finds a horrifying secret (and a familiar face) buried inside.
Blade is determined to help Ashveil recover, no matter what the cost.

"Yeah, well, Rukia told me Kameya-taicho is the only thing keeping Aizen-taicho sane." Renji took another sip of tea, watching as Aizen adjusted Kameya's collar with the kind of domestic familiarity that made Ichigo's head hurt. "She says we should be glad Kameya-taicho exists, if he didn't, Azien-taicho would take over the world."
" That sounds a bit extreme. How does Rukia know so much about their relationship anyway?" Ichigo asked.
"When it comes to the people she ships, Rukia has her ways. She's scary like that."
"I don't want to know," Ichigo said weakly.
"Too bad. Welcome to Soul Society."
