“This is a moment from my past and your future. At some point, the TARDIS is going to explode and all of history is going to cave in when it does. Total event collapse.”
“But why are we here?”
“It’s sort of...like an echo across my time stream as the universe collapses in on itself...one last scream fading into the black,” the Doctor explained as he emerged from the Pandorica. “As time dies, it pulls in players from my own history to play out the same scenario as the one happening at the eye of the storm, trying to find some manner of preserving itself.”
“So...is anything we do going to affect those events?” Jack asked as he watched the Doctor glance around the chamber.
“Unclear,” the Doctor said when he finally refocused his attention on Jack. “For my part, I choose to think that it does and that we can lend our voices to the echo by, ah...sticking to the script, as it were.”
“What are we going to do then?”
At this, the Doctor offered him the tiniest but fiercest of grins, and it was a look he immediately approved of, especially when the words that accompanied it were, “We’re going to save Ianto Jones.”

Jean knocks on the door. It feels a little strange to do so, when it has been her office for the past years but her manners won't allow her to just storm in without notice. But she does not wait for an answer (she's fast but Varka is faster, if he decides to run) and pushes the door open.
There’s a chance that Varka isn't even there anymore.“Grandmaster, these documents all need your… signature…?”
She falters mid sentence. The office isn't empty.
That's good, that's more than she expected. But what stills her in her steps isn't Varka's presence - it is the fact that he is not alone.

“Her?” Leon asks.
“The dog.” Chris holds it—her—out as though to elucidate his point. She blinks at Leon.
Leon blinks back. “You looked?”
He feels something ugly burn inside him at the absurdity of the situation, and he pointedly ignores the warmth in his abdomen and the trickle of blood settling at the top of his belt. It’s very on-brand for them, actually.

Buck had always liked the nicknames Eddie used for him. He had particularly liked Cowboy, but since the lightning strike, Eddie didn’t use it anymore.
"Big Boy" was new, and got Buck all putty-like in Eddie’s hands, and he didn’t even know why. Eddie probably didn’t even mean it in any particular way. Afterall, he had no problem saying it in front of everybody else, so Buck didn’t know why it affected him so much.Bookmarked by Kid_biscuit

Personal space was always something that Eddie shared with Buck. It happened so naturally that he had never thought too much about it, never considered that it was too much or that it could cause his heart to ache instead of flutter. At least, not until he was unable to separate the space between them. Then it became unbearable.
For a number of reasons.
Probably the most significant being that he realised that he was in love with Buck.
aka. Eddie's in love with Buck and when they get trapped in close proximity on a call, feelings come out when they weren't supposed to.
