Summary
This work is inspired by another fanfic: Maybe the one piece we need is therapy. But can be read standalone.
Shanks has a very traumatic past and he discovers a new way of dealing with it himself. He's still new to the process of age regression. One day, he suddenly drops without any external help and it's hard to come out of that headspace. Mihawk helps him through it and learns about the new coping mechanism.

Summary
The Strawhats were a legend: progressive pirates in a regressive world, executed not at sea, but on the gallows and the pyre of Salem. Their story was supposed to end in 1634. When tragedy strikes, Perona vows to right the history wronged. But as she digs up the past (and graves), she uncovers a web of love, loss, and betrayal that flooded from the Puritan days, all the way to her front door today, forcing her to challenge what it means to truly be a family.

"But, Hawks," he says in a low voice, lifting his hand up to press his finger against the edge of the blade just barely shy of splitting the skin, "will you?"
It only takes a moment for Mihawk to give in, fully, twisting his wrist slightly to press the blade into Shanks's finger. Blood beads to the top of the skin, brilliant red, just like the hair that gave Shanks his name - Mihawk feels a cold thrill run through him as the other man's lips slightly part, and he leans in to clean the blood away with his tongue.
"Oh, Red-Hair," he breathes. The blood is metallic on his tongue, and he knows it must be a shock of crimson against the paler flesh. "I could take you apart. I could tear you to shreds."

Summary
MM takes Frenchie in to recover from an injury when they can no longer meet at the Flatiron building. He isn’t given much choice about it, but finds they’ve both begun developing feelings after Frenchie comes down with a cold and he has no option but to step in to try and fix it. If only it could be so easily solved.
Frenchie only seems to get worse, and MM realizes his own heart is at stake if he can’t figure this out.
AKA Frenchie gets sick and for some reason that’s become MMs problem…

Kimiko understands wanting to numb pain. She knows what it is to long for an escape. And now, after Little Nina, she knows what it is that Frenchie’s trying to escape from.
So, for a day or two, she watches Frenchie drown himself. It feels a little like that film she watched with Annie once. The one with the boy and the girl on the boat that sinks. Kimiko is stuck on the door, floating in the black open sea, watching as Frenchie turns to ice in the water below.
OR: In the aftermath of Little Nina, Frenchie doesn't deal with things very well, and the Boys have to figure out how to save him - and the rest of the world at the same time.

The memorials tower above them both. The engravings are pristine, the memorials themselves beautiful. Bright spots of colour against white - what Marco thinks must be - marble. Their names. Their legacies. Their memories.
Grief lessens, but never goes away.
