Every time Quackity came in, He'd say how many days it had been since he had started his... 'interrogations', as if to torment him. Now that his clock was gone though, it was hard to tell, was he being lied to? how much time had actually passed?Dream's only form of escapism was ironically enough, within his own dreams. But more often then not, they'd just be twisted repeats of his past. The past he longed to return to, but could never do so.
So he just closes his eyes once more, and continues to dream, whilst awaiting Quackity's inevitable return... for another 'session'. Because within the maximum security prison, there were only two things that changed, not the blackened purple of the obsidian, not the choking heat of ever flowing lava, but the things that did change, were the ever lessening consistency of his food, and the ever increasing amount of wounds he received.
He closed his eyes again, every time he did so, he hoped it would be the last. To finally end his waking nightmare.

It wouldn't be that bad if he didn't know that the so called 'heroes' were full of utter bullshit. Tommy learnt a long time ago that heroes fail, and that failure causes irreversible damage. Tommy learnt a long time ago, that sometimes the heroes are worse than the villains.
The number one hero, his own father. He used to see him as a god. An unstoppable force. But now Tommy knew, His father. His brothers. They were all blinded by their own hero worship.
That belief of being superior. That's what Tommy hated. But Phil never noticed.

Old folk tales are things that get spread like wildfire, especially when you live in a small village. Whispers school children would tell each other behind their schoolhouse, campfire stories friends would laugh about around the warm flames during a night out, legends parents would tell their children to warn them and keep them in check.
Talks about monsters in the woods, whether they be tall and slender or bulky and aggressive, the descriptions of these cryptids varied wildly. Parents would warn their young ones ‘Don’t go into the woods.’ and ‘don’t stay out after dark’. They would say that the creatures, fearsome and dangerous, would steal children and take them deep into the woods, never to be seen or heard from again.
Today was just another day, Tommy thought to himself.
Oh how wrong he was.
