Summary
"Will would like to make one thing clear: he was over Mike.
He was over it.
Okay?
He cried like a sweet sweet gay disaster in that Surfer Boy van, what, five whole months ago?
Pssh, old news.Mike Wheeler? Who even is that? How do you even spell that?
Never heard of him.Okay, he’s joking, obviously. But really, he was over his, um. His silly little crush."

Summary
Mike was now clenching his jaw so hard it hurt, feeling his body heat up all over in a temperamental rage, so close to its boiling point, as he felt it all about to spill out. His fists were clenched at his sides now, his nails pressed painfully into his palms. His tongue behind his teeth was threatening to form words he knew he would regret.
And he knows that if one more word should spill from Will's lips, he wouldn't be able to swallow those words down and tuck them into his stomach where they belong. Where nobody can gaze upon them with judging eyes, or tease him for them as he watched Will be teased all their younger years. -

[COMPLETED!!]
Note: Someone accused this fic of being ai generated. I despise ai and it was not used in the making of this fic.A man rounded the corner, mid-sip of coffee.
He looked to be in his late forties. Stubble lining his jaw. There were faint lines around his eyes—earned ones, the kind that came from years of squinting at sunlight or laughing too hard.
He took one look at them—
—and stopped dead.
The ceramic mug slipped slightly in his grip.
For a long, suspended second, nobody breathed.
The man’s eyes—warm brown, familiar brown—locked onto Mike’s face.
His hand began to shake.
Slowly, carefully, like the cup might explode if he moved too fast, he set the coffee down on a nearby table.
And Mike understood.

1989 Mike and Will stumble into 2025 where they're happily married, living with their daughter.

Summary
“Where will we go?” Will breathed, his sniffling slowing down.
“Anywhere. Everywhere,” he murmured.
“We should stay in the wilderness, camp, see the stars, visit all the best places,” he said in a quiet voice.
Mike nodded, “I want to see the Grand Canyon.”
“And Yosemite,” Will added thoughtfully.
“And Yosemite,” Mike agreed, a small smile gracing his face.
“Okay will, now we have to promise to make it happen, some day, when we are old enough to leave this place. Promise me Will?” Mike pleaded in that voice that was only reserved for Will, the darkness of night making him vulnerable in a way that nothing else ever could.
“I promise,” Will muttered quietly into Mike’s neck, the warmth of his breath brushing faintly against it, making Mike shiver.

Summary
“No!” Mike exclaimed, “Holly, I’m not marrying him!”
“Why?” Holly whined, as Mike tried to walk away. She threw both arms around his legs and sank to the floor, sitting on his feet so that it was extremely difficult to walk.
“Because,” said Mike, trying to free himself from her grip by shaking his legs. She only held on tighter.
“But he’s so amazing,” said Holly, as Mike shuffled his feet slowly when he realised she would not be relinquishing her hold on him anytime soon. He dragged her into the hallway so he could put on his coat. “He’s the best, most incrediblest, most fantastic babysitter in the whole world! You should marry him!”
Or; Will Byers, well-known as an outcasted freak at Hawkins High, is Holly Wheeler’s babysitter, and perhaps the loveliest person Mike has ever met.

Summary
“That’s not an answer,” said Jonathan, his eyes narrowed. “You haven’t been doing what I think you have, have you?”
“What?” asked Will, “Coursework?”
“Mating with Mike.”
Will had picked up his satchel full of art supplies that he’d left in the living room earlier that day, and at these words he dropped it with a resounding crash.
“Mating with Mike?” he repeated disbelievingly, “Are you insane?”
Will spends the day in Mike’s nest, unknowing of the implications. Everyone else spells it out for him.

Summary
This is my first fanfiction in probably 10 years, so please be kind! Just up front, this IS a Ryers endgame, so if that isn't your thing, you may want to click away. Richie Tozier knew he liked Will Byers since he was seven years old, and in the Summer of 1985, he finally got the chance to shoot his shot, much to Mike Wheeler's annoyance. The two then fell in love and maintained a secret summer romance, which, for unexplained reasons, ended when Will moved to California. Then, a few years later, when by chance they end up roommates at NYU, it forces them both to confront their pasts, both individually and together. As they get to know each other again and slowly piece together their past, they determine whether or not their first love ever really ended.
