Will could see plenty of issues with it. The fact that they were supposed to be best friends and now they're all but fucking each other to name one. To name another, the fact that Will is in love with him and is unsure of Mike's feelings, just like he had always been. Another, the fact that he felt like he was taking advantage of Mike's kindness to get his rocks off and find some sleep. There were too many things wrong with this.

Will avoids Hawkins for many reasons, Mike Wheeler being one of them. After a dreaded visit to Hawkins and a week of risky activities, Will retreats to New York to get away, once again. In a twist of fate, Mike becomes his next-door neighbor. In a fit of sleep deprivation, Will asks him for a favor. One that blurs the lines of their relationship, the both of them questioning everything.

Summary
