Summary
Now that Macaque's spirit and memories are healed, he and Wukong have agreed to try and make amends and try to rebuild their friendship. But that was never going to be an easy task. Luckily, their new friends are here to help. As long as both Wukong and Macaque are open to their help. And as long as they are able to learn how to listen to and help each other.
Aka - I'm putting Wukong and Macaque in therapy courtesy of Sandy. We're going to deal with their mutual traumas and hopefully give them a happy ending by the end of this.

Summary
Wukong could still remember the first time he’d ever seen all six of Macaque’s ears. The wild orchids were barely starting to sprout in the spring, the air still sharp with the last wisps of winter as they clung desperately to the earth, ultimately defied by the delicate blossoms. The Brotherhood had been formed years ago, but so much time had passed since then it was hard to remember exactly how long it had been. Long enough to start calling themselves brothers, certainly.
He wasn’t even sure how Macaque was even asleep, out cold on the steps that led down into their training courtyard in a horrific position, like he’d fallen asleep halfway through unwrapping his hands, the sheen of sweat already cooled along his brow.
It was the perfect setup for a prank, and who would Wukong be to pass up such an opportunity? He’d probably get punched for it, but who cares, really?
So, he leaned down, pushed the thick mane away from the available…
Wukong froze.
… Ears?
Or: Short story about Wukong and Macaque slowly get to catching up and deciding how they feel about each other after... everything

“You don’t want to do this,” the king teased, slowly starting to circle around to the side.
“What, confident you’ll win?” the shadow purred, matching him step for step. His heart was pounding, giddy with the coming spar. He could hear the other’s hearts as well, drumming along, fast and excited. “Don’t be so cocky, Sun. I know you. Remember?” He couldn’t count the hours he’d spent training with the other. Playing, sparring, fighting, constant contact, until he knew the king’s ins and outs as intrinsically as he knew his own.
“And I know you, Liu’er,” Sage reminded him, teeth glinting in the light. “Don’t be so smug. But, say you win. What do you get?”
Mihou grinned. “I want you to surprise me with something nice, not a quick kiss or something light. Show me you know me. Summary
Leonardo feels stuck. While his brothers are making great strides with their mystic abilities, he's still stuck with the same two tricks. Cut open a portal or teleport between swords, and he can't even do those without his swords!
During his frustration, he seeks refuge at Hueso's restaurant, often spending time chatting with the skeleton's son and showing him simple magic tricks. Hueso notices Leo's frequent visits, and upon learning about what troubles him, suggests that he take a break from training and focus more on something he enjoys.
So... why not magic?
Hueso's son is eager to help, and with their encouragement Leo decides to practice and learn and set up his first stage show. He tries to pretend he isn't nervous about how it will turn out. But making sure all the tricks land may not be the only thing he needs to worry about.
