Summary
After Caine's torture of the players, he returns to sanity and manages to stay for a little longer than in the show, time enough to express the horror and regret of his own actions.
But still, the deletion happens, and the players are left in a broken circus now filled with voices echoing all of their regrets.
All is not lost, though, as Kinger realises that maybe they can still be saved; the key to getting the circus back is, of course, rather obvious. Caine is needed.

Summary
Today, the ▬▬▬▬▬ Police Department has disclosed the identities of the recently found persons who escaped from the previously-thought abandoned C&A software department. Dubbed the “C&A Escapees” by social media, the five people have captured the interest of the world due to the strange circumstances of their location. All five people had previously been reported missing, anytime ranging from several months to nearly a decade ago, with at least one previously presumed deceased. Only two of the escapees had formerly been connected to the C&A software department, which had been abandoned since its failure to resell in 2008. This building itself became a local urban legend due to the occasional disappearance around the location and strange reports of electrical functioning despite its power being cut. However, these rumors are miniscule in comparison to the recent reality of the five C&A Escapees leaving the building, all the same age they were when they had vanished, as if no time at all had passed.
A collection of files on the re-appearance of five members of the Digital Circus... but where did the sixth go...?

As Pomni spends more time in the circus, her bonds with the others grow stronger. Everyone longs for connection, one way or another. But one thing that has not changed is Pomni's strong dislike for being touched. She won't ever voice it out loud, but everyone has known her long enough now to know it's definetly not at the top of her most-enjoyed things. Yet, Jax will still push it. Why? Because he himself hates touch as much as getting close enough to where people can see him for who he truly is. And it f[%$!#]s with him so badly to the point he's starting to doubt everything around him. A panic attack here and there isn't abnormal from him, in the privacy of his own room, of course. But, now they're occuring every night, and almost right in front of everyone. Jax has never felt this close to insanity, and it's scary to think that one more will be enough to push him to a place he cannot return.

All Tadc characters are foster siblings in this Au, so im sorry shippers but its not really possible for this Au. All dissemblly drone characters plus cyn and tessa are stepsiblings. (Tessa is like way older though and very parentified).
Warnings include an author who has no idea what shes doing but will strive anyhow, Authentic depictions of australia (THE HORROR!) and a light adaptations of some epidsodes. (Including intermission cause its awesome).

They all made it out of the circus. For some of them, they are back to their original lives for the first time in years. They all wake up the same way, taking off a headset in an abandoned C&A building. But they all didn't wake up at the same building...
Pomni (Now Kellie) and Jax (Now Zac) find each other through Pomni's old YouTube page. The two start communicating, not knowing what happened to the others. Caine had messed with their memories so much, it took them a while to remember things they used to remember about their lives even in the circus.
They bond over their shared time at the circus and start to wonder what led them to the circus anyway? How did it work? And why them? -

Opening up the computer to see his AI with a body and practically a personality was nothing he expected. And, suddenly, he's so glad he stayed late to experience this. His curiosity is bursting now.

Following the events of The Beach Episode (Episode 7), a new character arrives in the circus, a male rag doll later known as Fikzy ("Fixy"). The first human he meets? Ragatha, of course. This story follows him, the relationships and conflicts between him, Ragatha and the rest of the circus cast, while the other circus members explore their own relationships. This story is a slow burn with a lot of build-up, heavy topics and introspection, balanced with funny, sweet and wholesome moments. Some ideas presented in this story have been influenced by some fan comics and theories, as well as many of my own.POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!!
Ship notes: This story was mainly started to answer the question-What if Ragatha met a male rag doll? While the story does have a heavy focus on her and my OC, there's plenty of Funnybunny going on in it as well as some Abstragedy in the later chapters :) The OC Fikzy is inspired heavily by my own life experiences and is a self-insert of sorts.

(Rewritten version, Virus has never lived up to it's full potential, I'm changing it by giving it a second chance, a spotlight to success. It will have some of the main themes as before like the temporary mcd, along with the age regression/de-aging. It'll be less of a sickfic in this and more of virus replicating a more emotional and mental journey, but yes, there will be a bit of sickfic especially later on dw.)

But as he sits and waits to be permanently deleted, he comes face to face with the sins of his past.
