Zooble had been a great singer, and until they got back to the real world and their now girlfriend reminded them of that, they had forgotten how much they loved it.
Now, they were determined- with Gangle’s loving pushing- to find someone who could play an instrument with them, on stage. They could find anyone, though, until they were out of a late night grocery run and ran into a certain man they’d barely seen in the past seven months.
A certain man who refuses therapy for the life of him, and keeps scrolling through past messages, dreaming of a timeline where he didn’t make the same ‘mistakes’. At least, mistakes in his eyes- things no one would ever blame him for.

Jax is dealing with relationship issues with Zooble, and after a bad argument, he also becomes desperate for a way to forget about his worries.
On the same day, Jax and Gangle find a way to forget about their troubles, in the only way they know best.

Pomni is a junior legal assistant at Caine & Abel, technically competent yet emotionally hanging by a thread. By the time she leaves work after an especially hellish day—missed sleep, angry emails and even angrier people she’s barely holding it together. So when her car breaks down on the side of the road, it feels less like bad luck and more like the universe personally telling her to go fuck herself.
That’s when Jax shows up. A mechanic with grease on his hands and a mouth full of attitude, acting like helping her is the biggest inconvenience of his night. Pomni braces herself for judgment or some half-assed comment, but instead he just gets to work on her engine. He fixes the problem, explains it in rough, simple terms, and doesn’t make a big deal out of it. By the time her car is running again, Pomni is still tired, still anxious, still very much a mess. but she feels a little less alone and a lot warmer inside.

Pomni barely remembered anything from when she was human; it was as if the digital circus fixed her too much in the present, so she very rarely remembered things coherently or for long periods. But as she recapped her fight with Jax... she began to remember more deeply about her life as a human and realized that no one took her seriously while she was alive.
Pomni was like a relic in the middle of the desert, since she always gave her heart to the most, But what would happen if that relic no longer trusted anyone?.

After episode 6, Pomni began to remember her past life and realized that she was never taken seriously or considered important; she was always alone.
