She lived through a knife slid between her ribs, ripping her flesh apart and spilling her guts on the floor. Then there was a time when gloved hands wrapped around her throat, squeezed tight, and didn’t let her go until her thoughts slipped away and the world turned shades of black and purple. There was a fire that charred her skin until she lost her hair, skin, eyes. Then teeth. Razor sharp teeth, and she couldn’t remember if her flesh was between someone’s jaws, or if someone else’s was in hers.
She remembered it all in bits and pieces, even if they tried to tell her it never happened. They tried to make her forget. But she knew, because how could anyone ever forget the endless ways they had been brutally murdered?

Kuzuryuu Fuyuhiko is the third to wake up.
His body feels wrong from the moment he becomes aware of it. Like his skin doesn’t quite belong to him anymore and someone has peeled the pieces of himself he cherished most right off.
The right side of his face is still dark. He realizes this very quickly, as Oowari’s face is clearly visible, but he can only make out about half of Sonia’s as the two of them hover over him, trying to coax him back to the land of the living.
The simulation mirrored reality, huh? He wonders if that psychotic bitch did it on purpose. It wouldn’t even crack the top 50 of “most fucked up acts committed by Enoshima fucking Junko”.
