The stone floor pressed cold against Henry’s knees, its chill seeping upward until his whole body felt tethered to the chamber itself. The blindfold drew tight across his temples, shutting out the world, sharpening every other sense. He could hear the faint crackle of the hearth, the occasional drip of water somewhere outside, each sound magnified in the silence.
Henry wishes for nothing more than to serve his Lord and do anything he's ordered to, no matter how impossible it might be. That suits Hans just fine.

Only when a drop of drool tickles his lip does Henry realize his mouth had fallen open sometime during his transfixed staring.
He gulps audibly and shivers at the sight of the muscles in Hans' inner thighs moving as he leans against the doorframe.
"My eyes are up here," Hans reminds him, amusement clear in the sound.
At hearing his voice, Henry finally blinks. Once, twice. Only then he realizes his eyes started to dry up.
Mary, Mother of Jesus, this man will be the death of him one day.
