The stream of refugees had turned flood in the last year. So many wounds to tend, fevers to soothe. Maker, how many blood slick hands had he held as warmth slipped from them?
Just a moment of rest, he coaxed himself. His eyes were so heavy.
But Justice flashed a warning.
Forest fire.
Hand shot out to retrieve his staff, he whipped to face it.
"I have made this place a refuge! Why do you..."
Sapphire eyes stared into him. Impossibly crystalline blue. Doe eyed and framed by dark, thick lashes. Flowed between by the unmistakable sloping of an elven nose. His belly clenched when his gaze fell to her lips. Had there ever been a pair so plush and cherry bitten?
Then, they somehow formed his name.
"Anders?"

Of course, the first time he tried dirty talking with her, he somehow managed to still be incredibly sweet about it. So very Garrus. He was almost embarrassed when she explained to him afterwards that dirty talk is supposed to be just that: pure filth. And the first time he made it just that, he also made her cum without even touching her.

Summary
Primrose is a druid, tree-hugger, and the de facto leader of their merry little band of tadpoled misfits. She's been completely isolated from society, living alone in the woods for who knows how long, and given her naivety, Astarion figured she was raised by wolves.
Regardless, being a leader means she is a sturdy foundation for himself to latch on to, if he can manipulate her to care for him. She's prone to waxing poetics and altruistic to a fault, the perfect victim for his ministrations – so imagine his surprise when she turns out to be more complex than he gave her credit for.
Why, exactly, has she been hiding from society? Prim carries herself as if she would never do any wrong, but when provoked, she's shockingly deadly. The more time he spends with her, the more he has a suspicion that there's something dark lurking beneath the surface…. Perhaps it's time to find out.

Astarion dropped his arm with a huff despite his surprise, wondering where he might have crossed paths with him before the ship. Maybe a regular at some city tavern that watched him vanish for more than a day or two and assumed the worst. Maybe a sword for hire that took jobs from Cazador that saw him get hauled off by Godey. Definitely not anyone Astarion spent an evening with, or he wouldn't be standing here to ask stupid questions.
"I'm trying to ambush you and you're making it harder than it needs to be." He sighed, not letting the words sink in before drawing his knife and pivoting, only for it to be harmlessly swatted out of his hand and into the sand by the stranger's off-hand scimitar quicker than he heard it being drawn. Fuck. This entire encounter was going badly. Embarrassingly so.
