Summary
When King woke up to a pile of neatly folded blankets and pillows but no purple stick figure in sight, he tried not to feel disappointed. It made sense. Of course Purple wouldn't want anything to do with him. Aside from the week they spent preparing to capture those desktop stick figures, they were practically strangers. More than that, Purple was a stranger that King nearly killed because of his own blind anger. One hug wasn't going to change getting disintegrated.
Yes, King decided with a sigh. Purple would be better off staying away.Two hours later, the doorbell rang and King opened the door to see Purple carrying a tote bag full of cleaning supplies.
A.k.a. King and Purple spend the week after AvM 30, cleaning King's house.

Summary
It's getting harder and harder for Yellow to ignore the fact that Alan's expressions don't fit with the way she thought he felt.
She's catalogued that twist of the lips as holding back a grimace, not a smile. She's labeled that glint in his eyes as irritation, not fondness. She's linked the way he drums his fingers on the desk to impatience, not an idle movement.
When Green and Blue blow a hole in the taskbar, he's not trying to not smile, he's trying to not yell. When Red spawns animals all over the PC, he's not looking at him fondly, but with annoyance. When Orange encourages him to take on more and more of the work animating, he's waiting for something.
Orange's deal with Alan goes like this: if they help him animate, he won't delete them. But what if Alan never grew fond of the sticks living on his computer? What happens when Alan comes into his own as an animator, enough to not need Orange's help anymore? Yellow, and the others, find out.

Purple was looking more and more panicked, her eyes widening. She edged backward. “It’s not a problem, King,” she said softly, hunching her shoulders. “You’ll never notice I’m-“
“What I’m concerned about is that I didn’t notice!” King waved a hand at her exasperatedly. “Kid, what have you been doing?”
