Summary
No matter how hard he tried, Izuku could never make a difference. A late bloomer, too slow to save his mom, and only able to help after someone had died.
But what else could he do with a Quirk that rewinds time when he dies and lets him see ghosts, when only the dead believed him and he wasn't strong enough to make a difference by himself?
Still, Izuku was determined to help any way he could.When All Might offers him One for All, Izuku thought he could finally have the strength to save others. Even if he had to hide his ghost friends. Even if his old Quirk slowly started to meld with One for All. Even when the past would catch up with him eventually.
Protecting people with a straightforward strength Quirk that didn't require him to die couldn't be that hard, right?
OR
Izuku has a Quirk that rewinds time when he dies and lets him see ghosts. This is his journey of finding a family, overcoming the past, and learning to live with a Quirk that wants him to die.

Summary
Dennis believes in minor, harmless truths. Little white lies that save everyone around him from dealing with his existence.
But more omega patients start being admitted to the Pitt for the exact medication he's been using. His two alpha attendings keep asking questions they shouldn't be. He's starting to lose track of the lies as the threat of being known grows.
Or I succumb to peer pressure and write a secret Omega Dennis fic instead of growing a backbone.

Summary

However, after growing fond of the child he picks up in an end and makes his squire, his path takes a much darker turn than he anticipated.
Lyonel Baratheon is just too smitten with this large pretty omega to let something like a dragon stand in his way of happiness.
(A retelling of the show that is somewhat darker but with a much happier outcome. Baelor lives. Lyonel gets his cookie. Dunk gets the man and gets to be as maternal to Egg as he likes because I say it so.)

“But I...?” Hargrove asks, after long enough for Steve to go nose-blind to the furyragekillmaimkill scent, the Alpha’s jaw set and hands clenched in his pockets and eyes so easy, so blue, so- pretty. God, Steve should stop looking. Should look away, any second now. “Spit it out, doe-eyes. Don’t got all day.”
God, he has to stop looking at him.
“You call me Captain,” Steve answers, finally breaking eye contact to look instead at Hargrove’s fingers flicking his lighter again and again. Steve hopes the words say what he can’t: you were kind to me. From the way his fingers still, and the soft, barely-there pleased surprise blooms in Hargrove's scent beneath the rage, Steve thinks they might.
Or: Billy moves to the deadest part of the United States, meets the prettiest boy he's ever fucking seen, starts writing poetry, and everything - literally everything, from common courtesy to the food chain in Hawkins to his already-rocky home life to something so basic as his secondary gender - goes to fucking shit. For the better. Steve has panic attacks, spends most of his time alone, and swallows everything he's ever felt on reflex. And then he meets Billy, and everything gets, well- better. Much better.
