Because if he’s right, if this is who he thinks it is, then he wants nothing more than to go to Hueco Mundo this instant. His mind is a litany of Ichigo Ichigo Ichigo even when he knows logically that it’s not the best decision to make to avoid suspicion.
“As captain of the research department, your expertise will be invaluable, Urahara-taichou,” Yamamoto approves. “Any other volunteers?”
“Ah hell, I ain’t seen any action fer a while. I’ll go,” Shinji pipes up.
It’s amusing to think that maybe the Soul King is watching over him right now because this is the best-case scenario for him. If this is Ichigo, and it’s entirely probably that it is because his lover isn’t someone to be taken lightly, Shinji is the easiest one to convince to give him some leeway. From the sounds of things, Ichigo is completely hollow right now, and that means this is going to be rough. But he’ll do it because he loves Ichigo and he’ll do anything for him.

The chin-length black hair fluttering loosely about his face. He often lamented the loss of Byakuya’s longer silken tresses after the Winter War but he also adored the shorter ones and the way they slipped through his fingers. Could he give up everything in order to see to it that the future was changed? Would he, in a new timeline, still meet his mate and fall in love with him? Would it matter so long as his mate lived to see another day? A burning fire lights up in his chest as he turns away from the image of the raven-haired Shinigami Captain to look upon the Soul King.

Marinette had just broken up with Luka after the whole “truth” akumatization fiasco. Claiming that the relationship was not going to work out. Her not being able to be truthful with him had caused issues as well as her not being able to move on from her crush on Adrien.
Luka tried to understand but at the same time he hated that this relationship was falling apart because marinette wasn’t even trying to fix it. She was just giving up on them.
Luka didn’t want to give up on the relationship. He still loved her.
He was sulking while watching a movie when an akuma shows up and akumatizes him into Vampirion. A vampire themed version of viperion.
If he can’t get marinette to get back together with him, then he will MAKE her.Fortunately chat noir discovers him outside the bakery and things take an interesting turn…

Aizen Sōsuke is less of a man as he is something impossible to describe, up until now. Having been nameless for eons, he is aching for the shape Ichigo’s syntax is giving him. He doesn't want to kill the only person with the vocabulary to describe him. He wants to be known by him, deeply, obsessively, until there’s no room left in Ichigo’s head for anything else.
