Summary
Childhood friends Dante Ramírez and Ezra Williams have always had a plan. Graduate high school, hit the ground running, and finally get their band, Doghouse Martyr, off the ground. If they can do that, they can escape their hometown, see the world, and live the lives they'd always imagined, side by side.
But then Ezra went to college, and despite all their plans, he fell out of contact. Things don't always go to plan... and now Dante has stopped hearing from him at all.
Now it's years later, and Dante is trapped in an endless loop of monotony and burnout. His plans are dashed, and Doghouse Martyr is dead. Too despondent to hope and too apathetic to try again, Dante gives up. Until one day, he receives a text from an unknown number.
It's from Ezra, and he's moved back home.
Tensions are high, and emotions long buried are bubbling to the surface. Will the pair be able to break the cycle, and find a way through, or will the feedback loop force them apart for good? -

Willow Park is also a senior undergrad (also at NYU) who manages the flower booth at her fathers’ four bodegas (Parks on the Park). As graduation approaches she has hoped to get accepted into a competitive Masters for Environmental Science -- during the day that is.
At night she’s the singer/bassist for the underground punk band The Emeralds.
When Hunter messes up the last of many disastrous interviews for a summer internship, he stumbles into The Owl House, a famous East Village rock club, rained on and desperate to find a payphone.
What he discovers is the key to his past, present and future.
And maybe even a chance at love.

It was a piece of art just as much as his crust jacket and pants. A teal base, covered in stickers and paint, a smooth neck and new strings. She played the opening sting and greeted the crowd with a near deafening screech.
