The trio seizes at the chance for freedom and to build a better home than the ones they were given, rescuing other abused kids they know. But the town and church that protected their abusers for so long isn’t keen to let them go, and the kids refuse to relinquish their newfound freedom without a fight–even if it means the end of the world as they know it.

The child uses knighthood to get gender affirming care and to become the devoutee of the secret power running this knight world. This is a story of the earnestly devoutee trying to keep his place in the court, while also loathing most of the nobles. The distracting scapegoat wasting imperial time. And the princep who has been overcome by the Lady of the Lake.
This knightworld has taken the stories of king Arthur far too seriously and with little accuracy. The Lady of the Lake and Merlin are one, living figure, with many circles of influence. They serve a god who does not need mass recognition but will not let emperor waste their home. I drew one (1) knight fueled by a ring a psykers with have an AoE bell on top of it, and then made a whole secret cult of the lake and three gay pilots + a bastard inquisitor. I love the horrors of the Thrones, and court drama being so incredibly stupid.
