A choppy re-telling of MacCready and (my) SS's adventures through the Commonwealth because I haven't been able to get these two out of my head for a decade.This work will loosely follow the original storyline, expanding on elements I find interesting and ignoring the ones I don’t. My focus tends to be on conversations and developing the relationship between MacCready and SS.
I'll place relative warnings at the beginning of chapters when needed.
Overall warnings include excessive swearing, descriptions of violence, descriptions of mania, substance abuse, PTSD, and whatever else you'd expect from an angsty fanfiction taking place in the Wasteland.
No set posting schedule, ADHD af.

Danse is a strong, confident man, but he has difficulty expressing himself. He's rather shy and becomes flustered quite easily around Draic and his constant need to express his love to Danse in every way he wishes to; verbally, emotionally, and physically. This story is about the relationship they begin together after Paladin Danse is no longer a Paladin and needs to adjust to regular civilian life, while Draic tries his best to protect him from the Brotherhood along the way.

The struggle to find her place in this world, to try to find herself again, doesn't even register as an option. Nate. Shaun. Nora. Her marching orders are clear and her goal set.

This is not a Sole Survivor taking the place of Nate or Nora. Rina is her own person with her own backstory, thus allowing for Nate and Nora to both still have their story.
