Tom accepted that tord has come back but what he did't accept was that the guy would try to rebuild his friendship with him and the other like nothing. Tord on the other hand actually wanted to get closer more to tom, but due to not getting along, they both had some chaos making tom separate himself from tord. So tord decided to talk to Tom about starting his dream band out of the blue, they both agreed and later on carried, as they slowly build friendship, feelings also start developing but tom can't accept them yet so he continues to ignore his feelings for tord, but it gets worse at some point. They both finish 4 songs and start playing them for 3 dollars max in their local bar to get a minimum crowd of their own, gaining attraction later on.
