With the time of chillaxing so easy, Ink doesn't really have much to do. Many outside threats have been satiated that had made Ink's job as self-proclaimed Protector of the AUs sort of... stagnant. Normally he would be fine with stagnant, but he can't quite remember WHY the threats are almost utterly gone! And besides, Ink tends to visit Cross in this AU called Dreamtale quite more than he thinks he does. And Cross never leaves it, always sitting underneath or nearby a giant tree when Ink visits him. That's weird. Ink can't help but think he's forgetting something pretty important. Something that would answer why the threats have dismissed in quantity significantly, why Cross doesn't leave this AU, and why Ink hasn't seen a single sight of Dream?
