Summary
Impulse and Skizz have always been there for each other. Always side by side, always willing to lend a back-handed compliment or shoulder to cry on, and sometimes both at once. But when Impulse receives the invite that could change his life forever, he and Skizz have to face the alarming reality that they won’t be together. Will the turbulence finally undo their bond, forcing best friends to drift apart like so many major changes do, or can they find a way to stick together against the odds and create a new beginning?

Summary
Skizz made it to Hermitcraft.
It was, of course, a pretty emotional day- between reuniting with old friends, exciting games as everyone ran around the server, and the nagging feeling that he wasn't quite good enough to be there.
But on Hermitcraft, he doesn't have to deal with it alone anymore. Impulse comes along to remind him of that.

Summary
Zedaph needed to be around friends in the break between seasons. Staying with all of Team ZITS in one house was near-constant chaos, but it actually felt wonderful once he was used to it again. Returning to the Hermitcraft group to start planning the new season wasn't nearly as stressful with close friends at his side.
Etho needed to be around friends in the break between seasons, but he turned down the only offer, thinking that he'd be fine alone. He was sorely mistaken. When he only remembers the meeting late the night before, the pain of being alone collides with an unexpected rush of social anxiety, creating the perfect storm to drag him down to a level of stress he hasn't felt in years.
But someone notices, and for the first time, Etho doesn't leave the meeting alone.

Summary
It wasn't easy to move on when a season ended. Especially for Zedaph, and double-especially for this season in particular, where he'd first planted that seed of hope that he could actually learn to calm his anxiety. Seemingly everyone else has somewhere to go over the holidays, though, so it quickly sets in that this winter will be a long and lonely one.
Until some other Hermits say they'll be there after all, a sleepover is planned, and that Christmas Eve becomes one Zedaph's going to remember forever.

Summary
Zedaph has pretty bad anxiety around talking to people at times, but hasn't talked to anyone about this, relying on messages and occasionally meeting up with a few close friends to keep him from getting too lonely. Once in a while, he attempts socializing with someone different, and while fine on the surface, the ordeal is usually terrifying.
Enter Etho: calm, cool, and confident, but surprisingly understanding when it comes to Zed's particular fears.
(A series of oneshots exploring the idea of Zedaph with anxiety, and Etho having already learned how to handle it).

According to Council records, the Fulgur Ovium Zedaph Pleighs and his two co-workers - the Ignis Petra Tango of the Tek Clan and the Inferni ImpulseSV - are officially called Sapience Outreach Specialists. They jokingly refer to themselves though as the First Contact Crew. It’s up to them to determine the sentience and sapience of alien races that either volunteer or are brought to them by the Council.
And recently the Council has brought them one hell of a challenge: determine the sentience and sapience of a recently discovered species called Terrans using an individual that they nickname Blue.Meanwhile Skizz just wants to be treated like a person by the aliens that abducted him and go back to Earth…

“Dippledop,” Skizz finally says, and Impulse lets his hand fall as his buddy begins to turn towards him. His heart clenches at the bittersweet look on Skizz’s face. His tired eyes. The tears welling in them. “I’m gonna need you to trust me on this, okay? No… no back talk or nothin’! Just… just hear me out.”
“And just— just hear me out!” Impulse is quick to add, interrupting a Skizz who never even thought to interrupt him. “I have a plan and it’s gonna sound a little crazy, but you… you just have to trust me, Skizz. Please.”
